Stay at Surf Club was good. Room was clean. Plenty of towels. Bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful. This is our 3rd time staying. We love the location and being on the beach. The only problem was that Expedia dropped the ball. I had picked out a corner room and paid more for this room. Unfortunately, Expedia did not pass this on to the hotel. We did get an ocean front room with an amazing view. Just a little less room.

Staff so nice and friendly. Clean room, well appointed, comfortable bed. Appreciated the kitchen, pots, pans, dishes, toaster. The bathroom towels, hair dryer, etc. No elevators to upper floors. Loved the big windows but no way to open them to listen to the sounds of the ocean. Only a half window about 8"x20" slid open for fresh air. No balcony. Floor slanted towards windows made us nervous like it was going to collapse. Fine for a night or two.

Large room with semi-ocean view. Very clean, older hotel, but nice. Mattresses could be updated as they were kind of flat, squeaky and lumpy. Parking was difficult with a truck as most of the spots at the hotel are very narrow and limited back up room. Ideal for smaller cars.

This was a last-minute trip due to a family emergency, so we arrived late on Friday evening. The front desk and lobby were closed when I called to confirm the reservation but a gentleman that worked security for the hotel answered the phone and gave us all the information we needed. He was EXCELLENT! He even made sure that we were able to get our keys and information packet out of the lockbox successfully when we arrived. The Hotel was modern and clean, and the view was amazing (side ocean view). It was nice that we could focus on our family and not have to deal with hotel issues - thank you all very much!

Great beach access. We used the laundry and used the kitchenette to cook our breakfasts. Front desk had helpful staff. Climbing to our 3rd floror room was good for our health, but we were glad for the dumb waiter to take our bags up and down.

Fire alarm went off at 12:30 am. There was no staff on the peoperty to guide/explain what was going on. The fire company arrived , scanned the peoperty, turned off the alarm. Still no staff. After an hour the fire company told us to go back in the building. No explanation as to what was going on.
