My unique experience included a front desk associate named Carrie. She helped me surprise my son on his birthday. As I was checking in to a room he thought we’d have to share, I was secretly getting him his own room. He wanted to do it and asked her of availability. She covered and said they were booked up. He fell for it and surprise was made 10 minutes later. She was so helpful, quick thinking, and awesome to do what she did!

The Ellie is such a cute hotel and right on the water. I loved the smell of the ocean when I got out of the car to check in. We had a nice partial ocean view room with 2 king beds which you don’t see often as an option. The room was spacious with a balcony and little dinette area. Right outside the rooms you’ll find the pool with a couple slides! The parking was very conveniently located. We also liked how close it was to so many restaurants, shops, and entertainment! We’d stay here again!

We loved everything expect the parking situation, if you get back to the hotel after 5pm you will drive around for a while waiting on someone to leave so you can get their parking spot. They charge for parking so its kind of crazy that we had to circle the property for 20 mins just to park for the night during the offseason. I cannot imagine how bad it is during the summer.

The property is at the end of the hotel strip which makes it for a quieter stay during peak season. The hotel was very clean. Nice pool area. I dont like to stay in outdoor entrance room hotels but i would definitely stay again with how nice everything else was.

Beautiful room with ocean views. Sunset and sun rise you could see from room but highly recommend going out to the pier that hotel has its worth it. Lots of conveniences with its own bar and restaurants. We will be returning when its a little warmer

Disliked: Amenities
We booked a ocean front king room but when we checked in were given a ocean view double king room. There were a lot of additional fees such as resort fees and parking. The resort fees should have been much less or none at all because it is winter, and we could not enjoy the amenities.
