Arch Convention Hotel Review. 6.25.25

No on-site parking. Paid parking a block away had a car window busted out. Pool was closed. Room didn't have AC. Hallways weren't very tidy or clean. Staff was friendly, but took 25 minutes to check in because they didn't have my reservation on file as I booked through Hotels.com

Stayed the night 6/19 & 6/20, night of 6/19 the room had no air conditioning and other guests had the same issue. Still had no air conditioning on 6/20, after multiple complaints brought to the staff by myself and other guests the staff moved people to different rooms. The third floor hallway smelled of sewage, even with the heavily discounted price due to no parking provided by the hotel this is not somewhere I will be staying again and do not recommend.

The room is hot and dirty. There is meat on our floor. There are dirty sheets all in the hallway. Trash bags full of trash that have yet to be picked up. It talks about free parking, but they mean you can park on the streets. There is white powder all on the neighboring door and in the carpet of the hall. The thermostat is also broken. I literally cannot recommend finding somewhere else enough. The front desk worker is nice.

When we first checked in, the room we were assigned had not been cleaned since the previous occupant. We brought this up to the front desk, and they graciously moved us to another room, which was appreciated. However there were stains on the sheets, ants in the bathroom, no working ice machines to be found (we tried 3), and the phone in the room was not connected, so we could not reach staff. Additionally the pool was closed. The front desk person we interacted with in the evening was pleasant and helpful, but other than that it was not a good experience.

Terrible conditions and service. In our first room, the door barely opened, the toilet wouldn’t flush, no working phone, and no ac. They switched us to a new room. Still no ac, and the shower barely dribbled out water. Asked the front desk for a fan and they never called us back. Talked to management before we left, and they still haven’t called me to resolve the issue two days later.

I booked for 3 days. I only booked because of the amenities, there was no free breakfast as the kitchen was closed. There was no WiFi, the tv didn’t work nor the phones to call down. I asked the front desk person about the WiFi she said she would send an engineer to my room. She never did. I asked all three days about the WiFi. They always promised to send an engineer. No one ever came. I spoke to a gentle on my second day he said that the WiFi has been off for a while . I’m not sure why they are not telling guest. The halls were filthy with bags of trash from each room. The cleaners didn’t pick them up for over 20 hours. The actual 2 queen room Was decent. The bathroom was terrible. The tub was peeling and every time you turn on the light a shrieking sound rang until you turn the light back off. I found blond hair all over one of the beds. I’m brunette. One of the beds only had sheets and no thick bedding. Ac works great was really cold. Pool was filthy throughout all hours. It was never cleaned, shocked, or detailed. The toilet wouldn’t flush. The ice machines either didn’t work or were off. Couldn’t find any free drinkable water in the hotel. It was a packed hotel. Noisy throughout all hours. Even after noise curfew. Walls extremely thin. Elevators are in horrible conduction some being out of order. Others being incredibly shaky. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. As it’s to noisy for just sleeping. No WiFi for business to be done on personal computers and pool is dirty.
