Our room was amazing with a useable balcony overlooking the Riverwalk. We were 1/2 block from a bus stop plus direct access to the Riverwalk. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Plus the beautiful historic building. I will always stay here when I go to San Antonio.

Beautiful surroundings
Nice room with kitchenette/ coffee. Hard to get the water to heat up in shower though. The sheets were low quality, bed was comfortable other than the itchy sheets.

Fun, historic hotel in the heart of SA. room was comfortable, We had a king suite with plenty of space. It was very clean, just dated decor which actually lends to the historic charm. Front desk staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Cafe food was quick and affordable for an easy breakfast.

It was the second time staying and it was great to have access to the ocean. Most of the things were great. However We tried to get away from stress but it was a construction going on all night. We couldn't sleep. Got more stress. The good thing was breakfast ever.

Any concerns we had were quickly resolved, the only drawback was the crush of everybody checking out at 11am picking up valet cars at the same time. Lots of cars, lots of guests, and just a couple of guys running back-and-forth. They worked hard.

"Good: beautiful property, clean, friendly and helpful staff, and Tony the bartender was great.
Bad: the food truck should offer more than Mexican food, such as burgers and fries. The property seemed to have run out of many supplies, such as ice cream at the restaurant to make ice cream drinks, the pizza maker was not working at the marketplace, and there was no ink in the office printer to print guest bill summaries. The towel return was stuffed full. There needs to be better on site, hands-on management for these kinds of little things. We asked for our sink faucet handle to be repaired, but even after the repair it’s still leaked around the rim across the counter top. Again, better on-site management for this beautiful property. "
