The air conditioner smell was terrible. It was extremely musty, and you signed a form staing you would keep it turned on between certain degrees or you would be responsible for humidity damage. It was almost intolerable. Housekeeping did not follow directions and you had to chase them down to get what you requested, such as coffee, water, or clean towels. I also had a housekeeper walk in on me while changing. No knock or anything, she just walked right in and i yelled occupied. Hotel staff was way less than engaged. They would only answer whatever you asked. No warm welcome or smile. Did not even advise of what amenities the hotel offered and where i could find them. The ending was a little surprising as well when i was hit with another $200 bill in resort and parking fees. Thes resort fees cover things such as 2 bottles of water, a heated pool, wifi, and it was all called complimentary! Do not even bother with Landshark. Bird poop and sand all over the tables and did not wipe before seated, food was cold and overpriced, and staff was unfriendly. Everybody here seem to be disgruntled. This is not a Margaritaville Resort and ruins the reputation that supersedes it. It was an expensive Laquinta on a good day.

hallways could use a good cleaning or upgrade on carpet, stayed over Halloween, appears there was trick or treating in the lobby, but nothing was communicated with us. Some of the staff could have been a little more friendly overall the hotel was decent. Would consider staying again.

Overall my experience was pretty good - the partial ocean view was great. The only downside would be the parking fee and the resort fee (which are apart from the price Expedia shows). The place is within walking distance to the beach - it's behind the pool - another great feature. The staff was also very nice.
