Gulfview II a small walk to beach condo complex located on the South End of
South Padre Island. The south end of the Island is where all the entertainment
is located. The south end is also great as it helps you avoid busy weekend
traffic delays.
This property is walking distance to the new Holiday Inn Beach Resort that has
2 restaurants open to public, as well as next door is Beach Park SPI, formerly
known as Schlitterbahn Waterpark
While Gulfview II (and it's sister property Gulfview I) are not beachfront,
there is an EZ beach access located due north of the Holiday Inn that is
convenient and totally walkable with a wagon with your beach gear.
Gulfview has arguably the best pool area not on the beach, while the pool is
not heated the hot tub is. It also has about half a dozen built in BBQ
charcoal grills that are first come/first serve use right off the pool with a
shaded dining area with plenty of picnic tables. This is one of the main
reasons guests love this property.
The condo itself is on the 4th floor and the property does have an elevator.
While the condo is not a brand new renovation - we think you will really like
it - it is super clean and functional in every way. The kitchen has all the
basic amenities you will need for quick meal preps for your family.
While we allow up to 6 guests, understand this space really isn't adequate for
6 adults. A couple with kids it is perfect for however. or a small group of
friends that don't mind sharing a bedroom. The pull out couch in living room
does allow for more space than just the 2 double beds in the 1 bedroom, FYI
We do provide a double sized airbed with pump, though please bring extra
bedding if you do want to use it. There is a very small private patio with 2
chairs though it doesn't afford a superb view.
Please note we do have unit 410 right next door if you have friends or family
that want to join!
Condo has smart TVS for your app/accounts to wind down to movies after a long
day at the beach.
While we have the best available Internet/wifi from spectrum they are the only
provider on the island and up time and coverage can be spotty at times we want
you to be aware of that
If you can't find the network name SouthPadreTrips it's usually means we had a
power outage and when the power comes back on It typically defaults the router
to the factory network name and password, which is located on a sticker on top
of the router.
Generally, if you reboot the router by unplugging it for a few minutes and
plugging it back in it will pop up
*Free Parking Off Street
Complex has an elevator so you don't have to climb stairs unless desired.
Community use laundry area for the complex. There is (1) provided off street
parking space.
While we allow up to 6 people, we feel the space is adequate for a couple with
kids. There are 2 double beds plus a pull out couch as well as a double sized
airbed and pump we provide. Please bring extra bedding if you plan to use the
airbed.
We provide linens & towels, but do not provide beach towels. Kitchen has all
the utensils, dishes, etc. For stays over 4 nights, we do provide
complimentary towel & linen exchange at our office South Padre Trips at 2600
Padre Blvd across street from water towel on main blvd.
For work, there is high speed WiFI in unit as well as counter to work off of.
Gulfview II is superior to Gulfview I as they do not charge for wristband
deposits...however....
Please understand in March it's a different deal no matter what your age
property charges $30 in cash per person
to security at the property for the security wristband fee qt check in... we
have nothing to do with it be prepared to pay!
It is important to read & agree to all house rules prior to booking. Message
us questions prior to booking, not after.

Please note:
This property and listing does require a few things after the booking is made
on Airbnb:
1.) You must additionally assure against damages by either agreeing to pay a 1
time $59 damage coverage protection plan fee (not refundable) to assure
against damages
OR
You may choose to do a fully refundable $500 damage deposit. You must do one
or the other to book this property and stay here
We bill for either via the Airbnb resolution center prior to arrival. Again,
these are fully disclosed for guest convenience as many HOAs are very strict
on coverage plans.
Our listing again, REQUIRES that the primary tenant is 25 years of age or
older to book & must be present at check in. You MUST contact us prior to
booking if you are not 25 - no exceptions - though it IS POSSIBLE sometimes
with additional requirements.
2.) Please take note we do require an E sign rental agreement with an attached
photo ID after booking is made, We require to maintain our City of South Padre
Island Rental License a signed rental agreement you may esign by docusign
prior to arrival to be checked in with door code therefore you must provide
your email address. You must attach a pic of your photo ID OR upload to Airbnb
messaging to age verify as 25 years of age or older. If you are not 25, we do
NOT allow you to book unless you contact us first :) though it may be possible
with additional requirements
Please contact us prior to making a reservation not after about these
stipulations above as we have a strict cancel policy. We are fully disclosing
this prior to booking and require all guests to read and agree to all house
rules as well as submit a docusign rental agreement contract with a pic of
your photo ID to age verify. This is not optional
City of South Padre Short Term Rental Permit number available upon request.
HOA does not allow pets
