This was right on the beach and had an excellent restaurant on the property. Food and drinks were excellent and very friendly bartender and waiter. They even brought our dogs some bacon and water. Hotel seemed a bit pricey however it was the weekend and we had to pay extra for our dogs. Bed was very comfortable.

Great location, budget friendly. It’s a bit small but great if you plan to spend most of your time outside. My only complaint was the lack of stove/oven as my wife and I like preparing our own breakfast.

The property is dated but well maintained. There is a restaurant with pretty good food. And there is a small bar with really great drinks. The place is a little small but very quaint. Parking is a little tight but just enough. All in all my wife and I enjoyed our self's and also nice little pool.

Fun spot. Excellent beach access. Loved the restaurant and bar that was attached. Not at all fancy or luxurious but a good clean spot to stay if you want a good location where you can walk to the beach. The bar and restaurant had great food and drinks and an extremely casual atmosphere. You could wear a swimsuit to eat dinner if you wanted to. You could also easily walk to several other shops and restaurants in the area. Great spot.

The beachfront location makes it a very convenient place to stay, because you can easily be at the beach and enjoy the view. It’s a well maintained place with an excellent food at the bar, where you can eat while you feel the breeze of the ocean . The friendly and welcoming staff are very helpful all times. Definitely it’s a recommended place to visit South Padre Island.

The Palm is a quiet, cozy option for SPI. They protect the security and the guest space and also have a wonderful restaurant overlooking the beach. There are very few restaurants right on the beach at South Padre, so The Palm is a great combo of quiet stay, great food, and beach access.

Only negative about this hotel is the restaurant doesn't fully operate during the hours they say. Don't head down there at 945 pm because they'll tell you it's closed even though they close at 10PM.The staff wants to go home already? Change the hours to close EARLIER!!!
