There was a young homeless man smoking a meth pipe and a tobacco ciggerette in the hot tub. He was wearing street clothes in the water and was eventually escorted out by security. The security worker was amazing. He asked me to make a note for management about the door that stays open and allows the homeless population to enter the hotel area. He's right. That door should have no way to stay propped open the way it was. Otherwise , fine stay for what we needed.

What a find! Loved this quaint hotel. Front staff was polite and helpful. Clean grounds, lots of parking, excellent amenities like 24/7 coffee and tea in the lobby. Our room was comfortable, well maintained and will definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed my stay here. Free coffee and tea in the lobby was nice and refillable water stations. A bit of a walk to the beach would’ve liked it to be closer but I was there for Christmas so it was a bit cold to swim anyway. Very nice hot tub in the pool area and very nice rooms

Everyone who worked there was so friendly and kind. The breakfast was amazing and there were so many choices. Everyone in our family was happy. We found the hotel very clean and in an excellent location. We loved being able to walk places. We highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel couldn't be in a more perfect location! Walkable to the beach, shops, and great restaurants, I felt totally safe! The free chocolate chip cookies at 6pm were a nice touch, it was quiet, loved the balcony, the open air hot tub, and there were whole fresh avocados on the breakfast bar (which were perfect)! I guess that's how you know you're in California. Highly recommend. Would totally stay here again.
