On a busy street such as Ocean St and in the heart of Santa Cruz, arguably the most dynamic area of downtown Santa Cruz, the experiences can be sometimes slightly noisy. Nevertheless, we do offer our guests a secluded location depending on availability. Please request an upstairs room away from the street on your next visit. Warm Regards.

Probably not as properly cleaned especially due to the situation with corona virus. But overall the stay was okay. Had to get another room because on arrival the room smelt very bad.

The accomodations got off to an unpleasant start when the staff (tall slender foreign decent male who checked us in) agreed to move us to a room where the heater worked and carry our bags up the stairs. He abandoned us and never came back. We had to request help for nearly an hour to change to another room by another staff. The new room was upstairs & had rust on the entry door and banged up furniure. There was no help as promised to help us seniors with bags up the stairs. So we had to make 6 trips. However, the heater worked. Other than that fiasco, it was pleasant. The other staff were great. The room was clean and neat, had working wifi, microwave, iron, refrigerator, TV and clean linen

I try my best to help people, like I did with the forks and spoons for you. I offered to carry your luggage for you and move you to a room with a working heater, but could not keep my word. I take full responsibility for it and I promise you that your requirements will be my top priority when you stay with us again. I like that it is close to the Boardwalk, but far enough that you don't deal with alot of noise.

Jordan at the front desk was great! We brought our puppy along with us and she made sure we were all set for our stay. The annex area almost always had non-guests lingering in the covered parking spaces at all hours of the day which made me not want to go outside alone. Other than that, we definitely enjoyed our stay.

Dear Savannah, Our hotel staff is pleased to hear your compliments about our hard working front desk staff! They work very hard, so we appreciate this feedback. I am so sorry that you did not feel comfortable being in the annex area at all hours of the day. Some of our guests use that area to smoke, so that they are away from the rooms. We also have plenty of security cameras around the property, and the front desk staff monitors them closely. However, the night shift constantly makes rounds around the entire hotel, every single space to make sure our guests are safe as well as their cars.Your safety and comfort is our #1 priority. We hope with this explanation that you are comfortable at our hotel, or you can request a room on the opposite side of the road.
