We liked how centrally located it was. Quick walk to everything. Unfortunately this wasn’t enough to make it a great stay. We paid for early check in that we never received. Our room smelled of stagnant water. Come to find out our carpet was soaked in front of the slider. The bathroom walls had brown stuff splattered on the walls and our bathroom never looked like it was cleaned. We decided to pay for late check out and was rudely walked in on by house keeping. We will not stay again

I booked the partial ocean view with a King bed and Fire pit. When we checked in I was told there would be a $30 charge for valet which I was unaware of and also that there would be a deposit of $300 for incidentals. The girl at the front desk went to check to see if the room was ready and the other girl at the front desk had made a comment jokingly that sometimes the rooms aren't ready by check-in time which is 4pm. I don't see how the rooms aren't ready when the cleaning staff doesn't do the job they are being paid to do. The first thing I noticed when we were headed to our room was how dirty the carpet was. The hotel is 5 years old and I would think that would be normal upkeep to keep it looking new. The room was nice enough and at first glance, looked up to my standards but as time went on, I kept noticing things. We went outside to watch the sunset with the fire pit on and there were bottle caps all over the balcony. Then the next morning as I was in the bathroom I noticed there was a lot of rust on the fixtures, the shower glass looked like it had never been cleaned with a squeegee before and the shower floor looked dirty and had different hairs all over it, none of which were mine. I was thoroughly disgusted. I also noticed some mold all over the grout. We won't be back to stay. Inn at the Pier you need to step up your game, keep your hotel up to par and get good management that doesn't lack customer service skills.

Although this property was located in the perfect spot, there were some disappointing areas. We dined at the lower level restaurant in the lobby for breakfast, greeted by the rudest lady. However, the gentleman that took over for her was on spot. Breakfast was delicious, and I would highly recommend, hopefully you do not get the rude female server - just horrible. That evening, we decided to have dinner on the roof top, bad bad idea. The service started out great, but then our food came out after everyone around us (who came after us) was served and it was ice cold, could not even eat the food. Our hotel room was great aside from our neighbors smoking marijuana majority of the night, and the guest that arrived in the middle of our stay being very loud and pounding on the ground every time they were walking around. I completely understand nothing is perfect when you stay away from home, but I do honestly feel that a few of these situations could have been avoided.

What a beautiful property. Staff was very nice. Location was perfect for a walk on the beach, then a walk to dinner. Having a bar and breakfast available too was an added bonus. Too bad we had to check out early to try and beat the bad weather as we drove home. By far the nicest property I've stayed at. Can't wait to come back and enjoy all that the Inn at the Pier has to offer.

This hotel was great because we were within walking distance of everything. There is a restaurant right in the lobby area and the mimosas are great. We met the bartender Scott who made us feel right at home. Great guy! We will be back soon. 😊
