The property is run down, with evidence that they are trying to do major renovations. Nonetheless, it feels old and shabby. The housekeeping staff is friendly, however getting daily towel replacement is a bit tedious, having to ask for towels even though they take them away (generally I reuse). Front desk staff are friendly, but not overly helpful - slow internet glitchy key and tv.

The night clerk was friendly and helpful. The morning clerk could not be bothered to greet or acknowledge anyone who entered the office (there were several people catching the 6:10AM shuttle. One couple did not even know there WAS a shuttle and was calling an Uber. He could have been so much more helpful. Had requested a bathtub, and it had one but no drain cap and the water overflow was not even covered. A fair amount of mold in the caulking and needs a thorough vacuuming of the edges of the room. Signage leading to room was non-existent so I wandered around a bit. TV would not turn on but night clerk was super helpful and got it going. Shuttle was on time and free, huge plus. There was construction going on inside the hotel - be forewarned.

Easy to get to. Practical one-night stay. Minimal needs and good basic accommodations. Inexpensive for the location. Fine in every way. Not a five-star destination but I needed simple and practical to-and-from-airport overnight. Recommended.

The property is run down and the room smelled very strange. The road noise is loud. We did not feel safe at this hotel at all. The elevator is just off the parking garage and several dangerous looking individuals were just loitering around. We actually ended up leaving at nearly midnight and getting a room at the Hilton 6 miles away.

Nice hotel

The hotel was clean, comfortable and close to the airport which is what we were looking for. When we checked in the gentlemen at the desk were not very courteous. One gentleman just walked away as we approached. The other gentleman likes confused and was rude to us and then answered his cell phone to top it off! Not a very quiet hotel to stay at but would consider staying there again.

Disappointed... didn't have to be that way.

Pros: room was pleasing. thanks..
Cons: Customer service personnel and guidelines of how to service customer. Hotel Shuttle service.. just be predictable and not such wide gaps between runs
Unfortunately, the staff at this Ramada was partially responsible for such a poor (yes, disappointing) experience with this San Bruno Ramada. Just calling the hotel to find out how often the airport shuttle runs took several tries. the staff would answer the phone, put you on hold, then never come back to the call (I waited 10 minutes) for a something that should have taken 15 seconds. Each time I called this hotel (for various other reasons) resulted in the same process. Very poor customer service in this regards. Didn't have to be done this way at all.. Even in a busy time, no one should be placed on hold for 10 minutes or more. as for the airport shuttle. Was eventually told that the shuttle runs every 15 minutes. Not TRUE... turned out to be 47 minutes of wait time. This hotel is only 4 minutes from the Airport. This is completely unacceptable. All the other hotels I stay at near SFO run such high quality shuttle services. This was the worst I've experienced in several years. Again, another major disappointment. For the veteran business traveler I am, I know very well what is possible and what good service should be. They have to improve these things greatly.
