Took an hour for towels.

It took one hour to get more towels. When we called to check what happened. We were placed on hold for 15 minutes and no one ever came back. When I checked in I was told they had no more double queen but they could bring a roll away. I booked for a double queen because there was 4 of us. My kids were not comfortable on the roll away. The front desk was not interested to tell me where we should park. Over all I expected more from a Sheraton. And would probably never stay again.

Holiday stay

Pros: Location to tourist sites.
Cons: Do not charge for parking and internet.
Location: Na
Overall the stay was OK, was disappointed when we had to pay $20.00 per night for parking and $10.00 per day for internet service. WE FELT THESE SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLIMENTARY.

Very nice

Pros: Clean, spacious
Cons: There wasn't a refrigerator
Location: Convention center, eating
The hotel staff were very pleasant. The room was clean and the view of the city was nice. My first night sleep was great. The second was not due to screaming kids and a man on his cell phone. However, that should not be a reflection of the hotel in general.

A near superior stay with just a few flaws

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. It was easy to get to. The rooms were clean and of an excellent quality. The staff was top notch in both professionalism and friendliness. The only two detractors I had regarding our stay was there were groups each night we stayed that were rather noisy in the halls in the middle of the night. Granted this wasn't the hotel's fault, but it did detract from a good night's sleep. But I did get the impression that the hotel is a favorite location for large groups like weddings and other events so this may not be a rare occurrence. The second con would be that one of the mattresses in our room was rather spongy and contributed to a rough night's sleep. But, I'm particular to a fault about the firmness of a mattress and rarely, if ever, find one that I'm really satisfied with. So take that last criticism with a grain of salt. Overall, an excellent experience and we plan on making this hotel a regular stop on our travels through Sacramento with the family.

This hotel is centrally located in downtown Sacramento and convention center.

This hotel is a big uninteresting hotel. Service is good. Rooms are fine. The best thing is it is next door to Elle a fabulous little french- american, international style cuisine restaurant around the corner. Just another big Sheraton. Room, space and bath are great for the price.

Sheraton Grand Hotel, Downtown Sac

Very nice hotel, comfortable beds and pillows. Cost $18 a night to park in their parking garage though, so be prepared. Was hard to find a pepsi machine in the AM, was told a couple of different things by staff, finally found one on the fourth floor. I All in all a very nice hotel. (no queen beds though, only double and kings!). Also, there is no HOT Tub, only a pool.
