Welcome to the Swell House! This is a brand new home finished in May 2021 in the desirable, quiet neighborhood of Kiwanda Shores. This home was thoughtfully designed for a perfect family beach vacation. The walk to the beach is an easy 1/2 block to the private beach access. All the furnishings are new and comfy. The spacious, sunny, open upstairs great room is the perfect spot to hang with the family for cooking, dining and gathering. Downstairs there are 3 lovely bedrooms, and the wind-sheltered back patio with a new hot tub! The garage is available to store all the beach toys, and there's an outside shower.

2 level house with reverse floor plan. 1st level entry has garage, back patio with hot tub. All bedrooms are on the first floor. Master with king bed, tv and full bath with shower. Bedroom with queen/queen bunks. 3rd bedroom has queen/queen bunks. Full hall bath with tub & shower. Upstairs has open great room with cozy TV area, dining area and open kitchen. 1/2 bath.

Kiwanda Shores is a private gated community of quality homes on the ocean front in Pacific City. Security, pride in ownership and peaceful enjoyment of the coastal experience is shared by Kiwanda Shores homeowners and renters alike. A low bank sandy beach slopes to the ocean from the Ocean Front homes. Beach access is available to the Second Row and Back homes.

Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation.

5 night minimum in summer. For Summer Bookings between 7/1-9/4: There may not be one or two day gaps. So if you book a stay allowing this type of gap between bookings, you may be asked to cancel or move dates. We apologize for inconvenience but the online booking system does not allow for this type of rule.

Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

Late notice Pacific City get-away
Great find on short notice when our schedule opened up to get over for a few nights with good weather to our favorite beach town, Pacific City. Location in a gated community and less than 200 meters from the beach access just south of main day use area. Comfortable, spacious, light, and clean, and had great kitchen facilities, laundry, grill, and hot tub to meet all needs. 1/2 mile walk to Pelican Pub, Stimulus coffee house, and market so barely drove our entire trip. Would definitely come back for a longer stay when the chance arises, any time of year.

This was our first time at the Swell House, but second time with Kiwanda properties. Communication with the host was great. The unit was very clean, awesome location, and we all had a fun time. My only gripes are the kitchen ware is subpar. This goes for all VRBO stays and other rentals we’ve done. All kitchens are set up with the “bare minimum.” I understand most people go out to eat on vacations, but janky cookware and lack of basics such as salt and pepper get old. The other issue we had is that the listing showed pictures of surf and skimboards, but were not available. This was one thing that we were stoked about, but didn’t get. Other than that, we loved this place and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Everything about this property was WONDERFUL! Clean, modern, fabulous location for walking to the beach to body board or to the Pelican pub to eat. The rental managers were extremely responsible and helpful. Highly recommended.
