"Outside looks good. But this is an older hotel in need of refurbishment. Halls smelled musty and railings and doors could use some paint. The check-in was fast and easy. All staff I encountered were friendly and hard working. The breakfast area has about 14 tables with four chairs each. This is a bit small for a hotel with 119 rooms. The food was good with a decent selection. Waffles were not available due to no batter. My omelets both days were very good. Room furniture is showing its age in design and wear. The room did not have any USB outlets of any type. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom needs more than one towel rack on the door. This hotel has tons of potential if corporate would invest in an overdue renovation. The staff are working wonders to make this property work."

"Although the facilities and opportunities were average for this price range, we were disappointed in the staff’s lack of accommodation for their customers. We had booked a second night separately at the same hotel (at a higher price), but they wouldn’t let us keep the same room, even though it was vacant for the next night and it was the cheaper of the two rooms. We had to cancel our reservation with Expedia, then pay directly to the hotel at an even higher price in order to keep the same room. Most hotels would go out of their way to make something like this easier for their guests. "
