Superb Accommodations and Exceptional Service

Pros: Beautifully furnished, spacious rooms and exceptional service.
Cons: I can't think of anything I would change at this point.
First time to Sedona and stayed at the L'Auberge. This was one of the nicest hotels In which I've ever stayed. Our room in the Lodge was not only comfortably furnished, but was also spotless as well. However, what made this stay truly exceptional was the wonderful staff. Everyone from the front desk manager down to the young man in charge of keeping our beverages topped off at the restaurant had a pleasant demeanor and treated us as if we were the most important guests staying at the hotel. The room was more expensive than several other properties in the same class, but I would not hesitate to make the same decision again and again. L'Auberge de Sedona staff: you've absolutely won my business. Looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing place to stay.

Pros: The location by the creek was perfect!!!!!
Cons: Softer mattress
I will go back and stay here!!! The front office staff was top notch. From the moment we arrived, Nathan made us feel at home. He explained everything to us so we knew what to expect and where to find everything. Our bellman, Andrew was quite helpful. The complimentary shuttle made for a relaxing evening out. Thank you all for the great service!!

Weekend get away

Pros: I like that the hotel was away from town and very peaceful and quiet. But still close to town.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Location: The town is minutes away. Plenty of jeep tours. Shopping and places to eat.
It was absolutely beautiful! The staff were so kind and helpful. We decided to take a last minute trip for our 15th wedding anniversary. We had our own little cottage with a balcony with a great view of the red rocks. It was huge! The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, a separate shower and an outdoor cedar shower. I enjoyed it very much. When we arrived they took our luggage to our room and parked our truck for us. We a jeep tour planned so they gave us a ride up to town and picked us up later when we were ready. When we returned we received a complementary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. That was very unexpected. We enjoyed them. We ate dinner by the creek! It was a little pricey but so worth it the food was delicious! We will definitely stay there again!

Great get away spot!

Short 2 day get away for my husband and me. Hotel landscape, buildings, and paths were tranquil and welcoming. Set just below the heart of town of Sedona so perfect location. Staff was very attentive. Breakfast by the creek was fantastic and  dessert by the fire pits were out of this world.

Wonderful experience

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights last month to celebrate my bday and we loved every minute of it! The concierge was very helpful when giving us info on hiking, bike trails, etc. We stayed in one of the cabins and the room was very comfortable; we sat on our patio listening to the creek every night. Down by the creek there are comfy oversized chairs and they had a nice selection of lighter fare, and fantastic cheeses and wine. The bartender/waitor was excellent! Very knowledgeable on food and drinks. The formal dining was also a treat; the filet and seared scallops were fantastic. Hopefully it won't be raining when you visit so that you can sit by the creek. I also had the 90 minute holistic massage and she was amazing! The staff overall was very helpful, accommodating, and yes, they really mean no tipping (except for the restaurants, of course). They offer complementary coffee and scones every morning, and a free glass of wine once you arrive. The resort feels very quaint and intimate and the the grounds are BEAUTIFUL. Every morning at 8am they feed the ducks, which really is cute. We have stayed at the L'Auberge in Del Mar and I liked this one better; it was not pretentious at all. So close to downtown shopping and they offer free rides all day long. This place is really special!

First, the positive. This place will park your car, drive you around town, give you free bottled water every time they see you and have someone bring anything to your room that your heart desires...all you have to do is pick up the phone! Oh, and no tips are accepted! Sound great? Not so fast. Staying at L'Auberge de Sedona COULD be a wonderful experience all the way around...IF you pay top dollar. Most "bargain" prices at this hotel are for rooms in the "Lodge." This is a building on the main grounds that houses about 10-12 guest rooms...half of which are on the second floor. There is NO elevator in this building, so if you are on the 2nd floor, you will take 2 flights of steps every time you come or go. For most, this is probably no big deal, but I have very bad joints due to a bout with cancer and this was no treat for me. Informed that there were no other available rooms, we made the best of it. If you end up at the Lodge, make sure there are no meetings scheduled for one of the ballrooms also housed there. We were awakened at 6:30 AM one of the mornings of our stay with the clanging of carts and the slamming of doors because they had a meeting set up in that room for 8:00 AM that day! We got up and left the hotel when our complaints did no good. On top of that, our refrigerator froze everything we put in it (the thermostat appeared to be set correctly) and our coffee maker was broken. Lastly, I am still communicating with management regarding unauthorized charges on our Visa account over a week after we checked out and signed a final bill upon departure. Needless to say, we won't be staying at "the most prestigious hotel in Sedona" again any time soon. The hype truly didn't live up to the reality!

this resort was amazing

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Hotel was great with the view of the creek from room. Also we had a house with only 3 rooms in it! Ask for room #55! Queen size bed but best view. Their restaurant was amazing! Well worth the money. The bartender was great as well very personable and knew his drinks. We will definitly be back again!
