Hop off one of the flights to Sedona, Arizona, and you’ll land amid energy vortexes and geological splendor. Uniquely positioned at the gateway to Red Rock State Park, Sedona is surrounded by a fascinating terrain of buttes and other red rock formations. But the city isn't all about the scenery! There's also a thriving art scene, as evidenced by the dozens of galleries and frequent festivals filling the streets. Book your Sedona flights to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) to start exploring this beautiful and culturally rich part of the country.
Flights to Phoenix land at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, about 116 miles south of Sedona. If you're getting in late and want to rest before making the drive north, there are several hotel options located just outside the airport along the intersection of Van Buren and 44th streets. Although there is no public transportation connecting Phoenix and Sedona, there are several private shuttle companies that offer rides. Be sure to arrange this in advance. If you prefer to drive, the Rental Car Center can be accessed via the free shuttle, which picks up passengers outside baggage claim every 5 to 10 minutes. Phoenix is one of America's busiest airports, so it's a good idea to call ahead to make sure a vehicle is reserved for you. Settle yourself in at one of the best hotels in Sedona and decide where to begin your first sightseeing hike: Bell Rock or Cathedral Rock?
