If you prefer to play in the physical world, you don’t have to wonder what to do in Sedona. The town is filled with very real trendy restaurants, bars, and boutique shops. Just be prepared to take in plenty of New Age-y T-shirts, signs, bumper stickers, and the like. The town is also home to over 100 art galleries, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to get your culture on.
Despite its desert location, Sedona gets chilly. If you’re dropping in during the colder months of the year, learn the art of layering, especially when the sun goes down. Sedona enjoys its own type of cultured party, and depending on what time of year you visit, you may be able to experience the city’s famous Sedona International Film Festival, Sedona Arts Festival, or the Sedona Jazz Festival.
