The hotel was perfect for our 1 night stay in Sedona. The room looked out onto the beautiful landscape. The hotel was in town so we could walk to lots of dinner options. Wished we had more time, would go back again.

A simple, older motel directly in “uptown” Sedona ( with all kinds of shops: this is it ). Our room had a balcony and, from there, a fabulous view of the mountains. We sat there after dinner, sipping wine, and enjoying the view. Between the motel and the mountains are air conditioners from the shops below and the street: it all makes for soothing white noise. The in-room air conditioning jumps on rather loudly. Breakfast is spartan: some fruits, yoghurt, granola bars, coffee, tea: available for pickup near the reception. Overall, we were very happy we picked this hotel and our stay.

We struggled picking a hotel in Sedona and ultimately settled on Matterhorn because of the location. We could not have been happier with the hotel as well as location. Other hotels may be closer to trails however this is in the center of everything! The price and value were also the best. I highly recommend the Matterhorn Inn for your stay in Sedona!

This Beautiful Hotel is Our Favorite

We always try to book the Matterhorn Inn when we stay in Sedona. It's beautiful, comfortable, has amazing views, and is perfectly located to take advantage of shopping and restaurants. It's very close to Oak Creek Canyon, as well.

Nice uptown location. Easy access to everything uptown. Traffic was not nearly as bad as expected. Note everything shuts down early. Liked pool and hot tub was open later than most-10PM.
