Nice hotel.

Location: We also liked that we could just walk to the downtown airea. Many wonderful shops, and we loved also eating at the Cruiser!
We had a great time at this hotel. Very close to the dining hall, and our grandson LOVED the "shoot out"! Also very close to the Traiin ride.

Convenient to Grand Canyon.

Pros: The hot tub and pool are excellent. Next to the Railway. Was quiet and had ample parking.
Cons: The wait time for service at the pub was long but the food was good and reasonably priced. The soap dispensers in the tub had hair on them.
Location: Close to the Railway, restaurants and gas stations, very convenient.
Had an overall good stay at this hotel. The wait at the front desk to get a question answered was too long.

Clean, Nice, Quiet

This hotel is very nice and clean, but it is not fancy. The price may seem high, but it is a rather quiet hotel, which helps a lot!! I would recommend it.

Very nice staff, but the water smelled. Older hotel.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: water smelled odd and discolored.
Upon entering the Grand Canyon Railway we were swept away by the grandeur of the lobby. The staff was kind and helpful. Our room was average and clean. However, the plumbing water had an odd smell and was discolored. The pool was older and the water not great. Still for someone traveling with kids it was perfect. The old arcade upstairs gave my husband and I a welcome break! Good location, overall a good experience, just a little pricey for it's age.

Everything was perfect.

All of the staff made sure they attended to every detail. The check in clerk accommodated my 97 year old mother with a room with a short walking distance. The lady at the gift shop held some items for us until we returned from the train ride to the Grand Canyon. The buffet was wonderful. The staff was very courteous and helpful and there was a good variety of food. I had left my jacket in my room when we left on the train. When we returned the following evening, it was in the lost and found. The hotel lobby was very beautiful with grand paintings of the Grand Canyon. We had a perfect time---no complaints about anything.
