Check in was fast and easy even with my service dog.
But the room I was assigned to had not be cleaned at all, so I had to get back to registration, they assigned me the room next door. That one was cleaned and had an envelope for tips for the cleaning. The cleaning staff had hand written a note saying 'please money'. You would think the same person is cleaning the rooms next to each other. What kind of cleaners forgetting rooms to clean and then ask for money in other rooms?? No way I am leaving a penny tip with that attitude and quality.
This was a wonderful hotel! Except for the tv. Only tqo channels. But it was nice to.get out of the room and go explore the area around us. Love the stores and Bedrock across the street qith fred Flintstone!!

Grand Canyon Inn stay
Clean room, close to Grand Canyon. WiFi didn't connect to internet, I didn't use the pool. Only one restaurant, good food and service, somewhat pricy. There was some loud banging on my window, whoever it was could have easily broken in, but in the end, nothing happened.

They advertised a pool but did not have a usable pool.
They advertised Wi-Fi but their Wi-Fi was down from the time we checked in until we checked out.
They told a member of our party they would bring extra pillows to the room and they did not.
I was told internet will be available by evening but internet was not available. Outdoor pool was dry. Bathroom tiles were coming out. Very limited dining option. It looks like renovations are going on.
We’ve stayed here over five or six times. Every single time has been absolutely amazing. The rooms are always clean. The staff always tries to do their best, and frankly, it’s just a great place to be. I would take away half a star this time because the pool wasn’t running, I wish we would’ve known about that before, but I am looking forward to the pool being up and running at our next annual Grand Canyon trip. Honestly, this place is great, the staff is great, the food is great, It’s just a great place to land before or after your Grand Canyon trip.
I was disappointed. First, they lost my reservation. The kiosk clown said he didnt see any reservation in my name. But strangely enough my credit card was definitely charged for 2 days. I was so exhausted when i got there. The finding out they lost my reservation, i reluctantly purchased another room. In the bunkhouse. The room was small. But that was fine. But the bed. It felt like one of those 1960's spring mattresses. And the ac didnt work very well at all. Ok, we'll work through the sweaty night and have a good breakfast in the morning, and all will be right. Nope. The restaurant wasnt opened. It was supposed to be. But it wasn't. Very disappointing. The fact that there wasn't an attendant on duty, and had to talk to some clown, in a different country, was almost insulting. No. It was insulting. You dont have enough respect for the American consumer to meet face to face to take their money? Shame on you.

Not what I expected. Probably built in the 70’s, sketchy, not clean. Toilet backed up. The price was good tho…
The room was great! However, the pool was out of order which was not mentioned on the listing of the property. Ice machines did not work anywhere around the property either.

The restaurant is expensive for mediocre food. When my key didn’t work on my second day, I went to the kiosk for the virtual assistance.. someone in the background called me stupid and when I said something, they turned the camera off. and then didn’t have me checked in for three days only one night until I corrected them mind you I prepaid I end up leaving Sunday afternoon when checkout was 11 AM Monday.
We arrived to a weird kiosk machine with a person talking to you - it was startling. the doors are both supposed to open/close and they have only 1 so its a bottleneck. We used counter to check in not weird indian from a strange place. the room was gross smelled like old alcohol and bad feet. they changed us - great. then k cup coffee maker didnt work, they brought a ground coffee maker with no ground coffee, then they deactivated our room keys... Its sad - this used to be a great place now its not well.kept and service lacks. the pool was closed the restaurant wasnt good and was expensive. too bad the original owner sold it. they still own the gas stations on both sides.
Lack of good customer service. Called in the day of the reservation to let them know I’d be arriving early in the morning the next day. Did not dispute any charges. They said I’d be OK for us to have an early check in. When arrived, apparently my reservation was expired as they called it, without even asking for the name on the reservation. Also, employees(kids literally) walked in our room after half a knock on the door within the first 30 minutes of having checked in. Definitely won’t be staying here again and would not recommend it to anyone
