I truly enjoyed our stay at the resort! Would have given it all fives but there was definitely some noticeable wear-and-tear of the building (poorly patched walls, bubbly wall paper). It was very minor and looked like they haven't had an opportunity to get to it yet . That being said, I will absolutely stay there again!!

Macho’s first Sedona vacation.

Room air conditioner could’ve worked better. Heard the villas have better air conditioning units. Hotel staff gave us a great ground floor corner room at the end of the resort. Many other dog owners present. Highly recommended For you and your dog. Think it’s a little silly to have white bedding and rugs In dog rooms.Great Green area For walks around the resort. Restaurant staff exceptionally accommodating to dogs on the patio. Staff suggested shaded dog friendly hikes. Don’t forget to bring doggy shampoo if your dog was in the creek.

Would not recommend.

Pros: The staff was pleasant.
Cons: Please see experience section.
The staff was pleasant, this is where the pleasantries ended. The rooms appeared okay at the surface. Towels were stained (one had a blood stain on it, another, not sure what it was). Iron board was also stained, needed to be careful ironing, iron itself leaked water EVERYWHERE. Walls were so thin we could hear conversations from the adjoining rooms as though they were sitting right next to us. People were talking in the rooms and outside in the courtyard until 1-2 in the morning, and then starting again at 6am. The second night there was a dog barking in the room next to us, so they moved us to an 'upgraded' room. Thanks for the gesture, but it was 11:45pm on a Sunday night when we moved. There was a hot tub in our room, as well as next door. We just wanted some sleep. Instead we got to listen to our neighbors hot tub motor and water run until 1:30 in the morning and yell across the room to one another (assuming one person must have been in the tub, the other watching tv across the room?) The doors between the adjoining rooms need to be insulated. This is not a resort, this felt more like hotel California - I was never going to get any sleep and couldn't leave due to the events we were attending in Sedona. I would not recommend this hotel. Others in our party had the same issues.

Pros: Ana who is one of the hotel staff made us welcomed to the hotel. After a tiring and long day, Ana was cheerful and helpful when we checked-in.
Cons: Since there are 2 driveways, there should be a sign which driveway is the lobby especially if guest is coming from Highway 17.
Location: It near to major things to visit and eat like Tlaquepaque, Elote, Hideway, Chapel of the Cross, Bell Rock, Cathedral & Courthouse.
My niece and I enjoyed our stay at Poco Diablo. Ana who checked us in was helpful, cheerful and we can feel that we were welcomed. Also, I want to compliment the restaurant staff. The staff were very accommodating even though it was about to close in 15 minutes. The food was delicious, fresh and coffee was really good. The room was big enough to accommodate 5 people (3 children & 2 adults). I liked the brand of shampoo and soap that the hotel provided. Beds are comfy; the room was clean and the temperature was just right when we checked-in. The hotel is near Tlaquepaque and some of the good restaurants such as Elote and Hideaway.

Not up to Travelocity Ratings

Perhaps there are different standards of rooms. The room a stayed in was a standard room in a building that was reminiscent of the old motels. Quite run down appearance on the outside. Inside - the plus: the beds had a bed topper which made it quite comfortable. The air conditioner/heating unit was quite dirty and old looking. The furniture has seen better days. The bathroom itself was nice - except there was a floor mat that we quite dirty and dingy. Had to push into a corner - did not look like it had been washed in forever. For the price of the room I was more than disappointed.

Pros: Nice location between the City of Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek. We visited both areas, so the location was ideal.
Cons: This is an older property. It was clean. Friendly and helpful staff.. It just needs some updating and 'cheering up'. It's a bit gloomy.
Location: This was a one-day trip specifically to have dinner at the new Mariposa restaurant. EXCELLENT food and Sedona red rock views.
This was a one-day trip to Sedona from Scottsdale for our anniversary dinner at the new Dahl & DiLuca Mariposa restaurant. This is an upscale restaurant but worth the price for a special occasion -- spectacular views, excellent food and service!

Excellent service and very convenient location

Pros: The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The room (Red Rock view) was very nice and comfortable.
Cons: The lobby looks a little dated but that should not deter anyone from staying here.
Location: We toured three wineries and went to Mariposa for dinner. Very romantic.
The hotel had our room ready prior to the check-in time. The concierge made dinner reservations and a cab to the restaurant. Our weekend was wonderful. We give very many thanks to the staff and hope people come check out this resort.

Excellent location!!

Located perfectly in Sedona just outside of downtown area with magnificent views. Room was beautiful, quiet, serene and nicely updated except for the bed. The bed was very uncomfortable so hard to sleep! Would stay again if they get new beds!! Nonetheless, an excellent and beautiful resort!!!
