"I purchased room thru Expedia and got a pet friendly room. When I got there, there were two long flight of steps which my husband who is handicapped had a hard time getting up. I went to the office and asked for a bottom floor or cabin. I mentioned I had my dog. The guy said he couldn’t make any changes that I would have to go thru Expedia. The hotel charged me $486.26 for a one night stay. It was only suppose to be $131.13. They told me since I was in a non dog room, they charged me extra. I explained I went thru Expedia and got the dog room, but they said no I didn’t. When I told them I had told the guy I had a dog, he said I didn’t! I always get the dog rooms on trips. I am so upset that they refused to drop the dog charges. I never hid I had a dog and when I asked to move I made sure he knew I had a dog. What a rip off!"

"We booked the ADA room, which was advertised as a classic room with a roll in the shower. It was supposed to hold a queen size bed. The bed was a little bigger than a full. There were no chairs in the room, just bare bones furniture. The light fixture in the room was attached to a cord that went from the light switch to the wall and down the wall to an electrical outlet. Are you kidding me? There was a refrigerator in the room, but it had a glass door and a blue light so we had to sleep with that light on all night. I don’t sleep well with light on. We checked out after the first night because this was our anniversary trip and this was not something we were expecting. We would like a refund for the following two nights."

It was roomy and had places to put our things. We loved the shower! We loved being so close to the water. The lake was beautiful!! They had a nice pool and hot tub.
