The pictures of the property and rooms make this place look much nicer than it actually is. The rooms are very tiny and parking was awful! The staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. Sadly the bartender at the tiki bar was awful and not friendly at all. The on sight restaurant was way understaffed some people were waiting for 1 to 2 hours for food. We were very disappointed and it was our anniversary, we ended up walking out. On a positive note the view from our room was nice. And it was peaceful at night. They knew it was our anniversary and i was hoping for a little something special, free cocktail, or appetizer... something. All in all it wasnt horrible and we got a lot of relaxation time. The place just didnt repsent as well in person.

I never leave reviews but this has been the most disappointing visit to Tahoe for my mother and I. It is so pricy for being outdated— I had even paid more to get lake view from our room as shown in the photos. Our room got some view but a lot of it was obstructed by an event below and drunk tourists at the bar. It was not worth it. Compared to other hotels, ANYONE can enter this property, there are no wristbands to know who is a visitor or not. I saw lots of drunk, loud and obnoxious people that make me question if they even paid to be there. Not family friendly. The TV is outdated and carpet reeks of musk. Don’t count on Netflix and wear sandals in the property to avoid fungal infections. The beach was very limited, there was a weddi by taking place on the left so we couldn’t walk far and behind us was a sad memorial service of some kind telling us to be quiet for respect….on the the right were drunk loud people. The vibe was so confusing and I had no idea how I should feel. B ut what really got me upset is that when I tried grabbing a chair, a man approached me and told me that it was 25$ to get one!!! I paid over 600$ to stay a night!! I have stayed in cheaper hotels in Tahoe nearby who make it a priority to keep its hosts relaxed and comfortable. This is just pure greed and with this I left more angry than relaxed. Never again! On ther other hand the housemaids and front desk was nice. Don’t take it on them, take it on the greedy management.

Loved the beach access! Loved Tiki Bar and pier restaurant. Did not like food at Sidelines. The bed was very uncomfortable, too hard. Loved pet friendly! Pier restaurant has great food and service but the restaurant/pier needs beautification. Peeling paint/mismatched furniture, scary stairs to restaurant (broken concrete). Hopefully new owners have plans to improve some things.

The moment we checked in i was told my King bed reservation was changed to 2 queens without any prior notice. As i was discussing this with the guy behind the counter he got up and left in the middle of our conversation. Overall the stay was ok mainly due to the close proximity to the beach and lake but for the price it wasnt worth it. I would recommend this place as thwre are alot better options in South Lake Tahoe.

The only thing I was concerned about was the s’mores in the Ziploc bags. After people were using them, it seemed like they ended up scattered around, which isn’t great for the environment or for animals that might get into the plastic. Maybe next time something compostable or eco-friendly could be used, especially in the Tahoe area.

Absolutely terrible noise from the beach area. Room is not sound proof even with patio closed and AC on. AC doesn't cool well. AC is also very noisy. The beach is very dirty, very public and music is blaring from the bar all day. The staff was not courteous and helpful. Hotel website doesn't mention that they give parking permit for 1 car per room. My group has 2 cars. The staff didn't accommodate our situation at all and threatened to tow away the other car if parked on property without permit. Absolutely rude girl at the front desk. If you are looking for serenity, this is not the place for you.

I liked it was on the water. I didn’t like that you pay that much to stay and it’s like a frat party and Anyone is allowed on the beach. The beds and pillows were awful I’m legit in pain from sleeping there. The front desk lady was rude to our kids with an attitude. Cleaning people knocked and while my son looked out the peep hole they just opened the door and hit him in the nose. Like who just walks into a room. My shower leaked all over the floor. Needs to be updated for almost $900 for 2 nights. There was also a wedding there on the beach. A lil awkward with sooo many people.

The room smelled to the point took me awhile to fall asleep. Also the bathroom flush was broken, the drawers on the nightstand didn’t stay closed. Very noisy upstairs and had to deal with the drunk neighbor who came back to the room at 3:30 am and decided to have a no nice conversation with her friends. Restaurant at the pier took 1 h and 20 min to serve us ( and the rest of the clients) and they didn’t apologize or give any reason. They at last pay for the drinks. We do not recommended to stay here.

Nice place. Clean and very fun. Beach access is the perk of the resort. We walked about 5 minutes from our room to the lake. Loved it. Our new Tahoe retreat. I will say. They need ice machines on every floor.
