"This is such a beautiful cabin. 5 adults and 1 kiddo were in our group and we had plenty of space, never feeling overcrowded. Location is perfect, right off of 80 and a 3 minute walk right to the entrance of West End Beach. Can't wait to go back this summer. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this spotless home! The house is an older one that has been updated. The kitchen, in particular, is worth note. It is tremendous! Unlike other rentals that are stocked with worn out, cast off, mismatched items, this kitchen has new appearing full sets of dishes, utensils, and cooking and baking items. It is supplied with spices, oils, foil, etc, and condiments in the refrigerator including butter. There was more than enough room for our food items in an empty pantry closet. The house, as shown in photos has both a sitting area and a huge living room with ample seating and a large screen TV. The house is heated with two pellet stoves and several electric wall units plus plug in units if needed. We were warm and cozy our whole stay which was important as we had a baby with us. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of hot water in the two bathrooms. The house is supplied with plenty of towels and linens. The hostess is amazing! She was easy to contact and replied promptly. Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay and would love to stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our time at the home—it was cozy, well-decorated, and had a very comfortable layout that made it easy to relax and settle in. The location was great, and overall, the stay had a lot of potential to be perfect.However, there were a few issues that stood out. There was no broom or vacuum available, which made it tough to keep things tidy during our stay, especially with kids. One of the chairs was broken, which wasn’t a huge deal but did limit seating. it looked like the previous cleaners had thrown all the leftover ashes from the fireplace onto the back deck, which made that space pretty unpleasant to use.All in all, the home itself was very comfortable and could be a fantastic rental with just a bit more attention to detail and safety."

"This was a well-laid out condo for the 4 of us who stayed on this visit, The view of Donner Lake with surrounding snow-capped mountains from the Living room is quite picturesque. Instructions from the owner were easy to follow. Centrally located with easy access to Truckee, Squaw and Royal Gorge. Safeway, stores, coffee, and restaurants are nearby or up to a 10 min. drive.Condo is on the second floor and has a nice layout with 3 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Didn't feel cramped at all. Kitchen is nice and well-stocked with everything we needed. Per owner's words, this is not a high-end chalet where everything is absolutely perfect. It's homey and clean, sufficient linens and things work satisfactorily. We would stay here again"

"The home is comfortable and warm for our 6 adult & 5 children's yearly winter fun. Hosts are responsive, helpful, prompt, and nice. Everything we need (except food & drink) are provided. We create and enjoy our own sled run on the property. We stay cozy inside playing games and being together creating memories."
