Parking is expensive and inconvenient. One should have the choice of parking your own car and not have to wait on someone to bring it to you. The cost is ridiculous since the price of the rooms is so high already. There is no additional that are not more costs. I am disappointed considering Embassy Suites is the original hotel and they know how to cater to their customers without everything having to cost more.

Watch for the nickel and diming of fees.

We did not wear shoes in the room. So, we noticed the dirt on our sock from the floor in our room. It was extremely dirty. Service was generally good. But, inconsistent between bartenders. Check in and out was easy. However, I wish I would have known about the valet fee. Nobody ever mentioned that until I looked at my emailed receipt. It’s quite underhanded since valet is not optional.

The bedside clock and refrigerator did not work in our room. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Location is amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel lobby was bright, comfy and fun people watching!

Fun but it will cost ya.

Stay was good I regularly travel solo and have been here when they first opened, the only issue I would say was my room smelled like smoke pretty bad when I entered as well as the cost of the resort fee they add on (it was almost the same price as the stay itself) and I don’t love that they force you to have valet parking instead of self parking…. So make sure you have enough cash to cover all the extra fees and you will be just fine, I will say the employees that work here are extremely nice though and they get a 5 star from me on that.

Margaritaville is a former Embassy Suites property that has been completely renovated and now has a nice tropical vibe.The staff is SO nice and helpful! The hotel is right at Stateline and is close to shopping, dining, and casinos.

The hotel was unable to get us an accessible room even though we booked an accessible suite. We had a person on wheelchair and that was something we absolutely needed. Never gave us the $30 hotel credit and also the last day the entire hotel air conditioning system wasn’t working. It was so hot

I love staying in this Place even before it became Margaritaville… next to the casino and variety of dining… check in time is a little late at 4 while you have to check out at 11 and can’t even give you till 12 for a later check out. Overall this place is Nice!

My first time to Lake Tahoe and we had a great stay. There was a beach within walking distance, close to the casinos, close to shopping and food. 10/10 would stay here again. The room was very spacious and clean, staff was so friendly and helpful.

Two easy fixes

The hotel was amazing! All the housekeeping and front desk workers were amazing. Two things… 1) please talk to your valet staff. Both times we picked up as we waited for our car we could hear many of the young men talking about customers negatively in very close proximity to us and others. 2) We just got married the day before we checked in and we wanted to get some jacuzzi time in before our evening, however the amount of chlorine that was in the air alone was too much to even stay in the pool area let alone go in. Again, those two tiny things that most people wouldn’t notice just fix them, have a valet lead always outside with these younger men. And open those doors, throw on some fans and air out the pool area an hoir before you open, and keep the doors open.

The room was very nice, plenty of room for 2 people. It accommodated us nicely. We were dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the room. Called housekeeping, they did do some cleaning but it took several hours for them to come, had to call again. The tub was very slick, no mat.
