The check in process was one of the worst I have ever encountered. My wife did not get in to a CLEAN room until almost 730pm which is 3 and 1/2 hours after we were supposed to check in. And this was the 2nd room she was given because the first room she took my 7 year old daughter too was incredibly dirty and smelled like marijuana. Unbelievable disappointing and not one time was anything offered to be done for this inconvenience.

When we checked in we were told that due to not having have enough cleaning staff not all rooms has been cleaned and there were no more double rooms available (which is what our reservation was for). I inquired about instead getting a king size room and was told that was possible, but then the computer system went down and was unable to check in at that time. Left to get dinner and was able to finally check in. Our room smelled of smoke and was not as clean as I would expect. Hotel seemed very short staffed. Would not recommend a stay at this hotel.

My experience was great up until about 9pm. The walls were so thin i could hear the actual conversations of my neighbors while trying to sleep. I stayed on a weekday evening for a business trip and was unable to fall asleep due to people yelling and running through the halls by the pool area. I had called the front desk which resulted in no help. I also went up to the the front for assistance multiple times but there was never anyone at the front desk to help. I was mainly frustrated because upon arrival you are required to sign a waiver that requests guests to be quiet past 9pm. Ultimately i was kept awake until 1am when my neighbors had finally settled down for the night. Not fun when you’re waking up at 6am the next day. While i was frustrated with my neighbors for not being mindful of others around them, i was mainly disappointed in the lack of support from the Cambria staff. Would not stay again.

Nice property, however with Covid cases at an all time high, staff members and guests at the hotel did not wear masks in common areas. This left us not using many of the amenities because we frankly didn’t feel safe or comfortable.

All staff are mandated to wear mask throughout the hotel. We don't take our concerns lightly and your feedback is of great importance and allows us to monitor and improve. The positive: the room was fantastic. Tastefully modern with plenty of room. It was very comfortable. We were there for a wedding & the large bathroom counter, clothing closet & other features made getting ready for the occasion east. The cons: 1. The Cambria acts like COVID doesn’t exist. The website & sign on the entrance says masks required. Not a single staff member wears a mask. 2. Parking. Despite our efforts to park in the correct place, we left in the morning to find a parking ticket our car. To park, there is a sign guiding you into a public lot. The next next parking signs are not visible from where we turned into the lot. So, we didn’t know that the parking spaces we parked in were not the correct ones. This was frustrating. Overall, great room but I’d book elsewhere next time.

The rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped. The hotel is very close to the public market and the river walk. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We would stay there again!

Nice location near Milwaukee's Third Ward. Disappointed (and surprised) to have to pay a $75 "security deposit" on top of the room fee at check in. Would have been nice to know that in advance.
