"Convenience"
I liked the room, the checkout time of noon, the continental breakfast, and friendly staff. I thought the big "$64.99" sign was kinda cheesy. Next time I'll ask for a room not so far away from lobby.

"Nice hotel but toilet was running"
Everything about my stay was fine except that the toilet tank was running intermittently every 5-10 minutes. I told the front desk within an hour of noticing it and went to dinner, hoping they had sent someone up to fix it but that didn't happen. As a result, it was an annoying sound all night and disturbed my sleep. Otherwise everything was fine and the food in the hotel restaurant downstairs was very good.

"fun and funky hotel"
we stayed at the Ace because we were going to the Grammy's. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is a bit gritty, but we found great restaurants and shops nearby and a wonderful farmer's market. If you want something historic and away from the touristy areas, you should try it. My young adult children loved the turntable and classic rock records in the room.

"Close to the beach & Staples Ctr"
Chose this hotel because it was close to the Staples Center for a ball game, less than one block. It is close to the beach but no view of the beach and more walking than I wanted to do to get there. It was close to all other places we wanted to see. My only problem was that I think everyone should offer free wi-fi in the rooms. Yes I knew that before booking but just having free internet in the lobby is not the way to go these days. I think it was $19.99 per day but for the rates charged that should be included IMO. They also had an ethernet wire available for wired internet in the rooms but that was $14.95 I think and it didn't work and the lobby was full You may also have to ask for a refrigerator (no charge) for your room. They have one for the mini bar but not for general use. They were very accommadating and I had left something in the car and just called the valet and they brought it right up to the room

Los Angeles Pet Friendly Hotel Guide

Legendary Los Angeles is known as the playground of the rich and famous, a magical land of sun, celebrities, and sandy beaches filled with both. And where the stars go, their pets follow, whether in purses, strollers, or using their own four feet. So when you plan your next vacation, there’s no need to leave your furry friends at home. They’re more than welcome in the “City of Angels”—in fact, pooches will be pampered just as much as humans in this town. Begin your search for dog-friendly hotels in Los Angeles right here on Travelocity and see for yourself. Then get started planning an itinerary you’ll both fall in love with.

Where to tour in Los Angeles with a pet?

If you’ve got a friend with four paws by your side, finding activities you’ll both enjoy is top priority. But not to worry! You’re more likely to see celebrities at The Grove shopping plaza than on any Hollywood bus tour. Enjoy the fountain show, stop off for a cupcake (sugar-free for Fido!), visit the farmers market, and reward your pal with a treat from the doggie bakery. This outdoor mall provides all-day fun.

Runyon Canyon should be on any active pooch’s to-do list. While you might not see any celebrity homes, you can check out the “Pink House,” a mysteriously unfinished mansion that’s been under construction since 1993. And yes, you may get star struck, too: Celebs from Justin Bieber to Natalie Portman have been spotted here. Of course, you could always take your pup to the Hollywood Walk of Fame to take a photo with the star of his favorite movie idol: Lassie! And once you’ve worked up an appetite, you may be wondering…

Any advice on finding the best sushi in Los Angeles?

You can find tasty tuna and scrumptious scallops nearly anywhere in the city, but for a truly authentic experience, spend an afternoon exploring Little Tokyo. As you wander around Japanese Village Plaza, the bright red beams of the Tokyo Watchtower and the simple exterior of the intriguing Koyasan Buddhist Temple will transport you to Japan itself. But wait…you’re here for the sushi, and you’ll find plenty of it. Asking a friendly local is always a good idea, or give yourself a little tour, peering in windows and reading menus until you find that perfect ambiance.

Of course, you’ll need to drop the doggie off at the spa. Don’t worry, many Los Angeles pet-friendly hotels cater to pups as much as to humans: Yappy hour and “paw”-dicures await your furry friend. Time flies when you know Sparky is being spoiled, and anyway, you deserve a delectable dinner, don’t you?

Whether you’re just dropping in for a long layover at Motel 6 Los Angeles LAX or plan to live in 4-star luxury at The Belamar, you’ll soon discover that this is one town that loves your best friend almost as much as you do. Just choose from Travelocity’s incredible selection of pet-friendly hotels in Los Angeles and start packing! Don’t forget the diamond-studded necklace and designer sweater…for the dog, that is.
