Your email subject was “How did you like the breakfast at Westin....” . Well I was told at check in that breakfast wasn’t included (I booked through Expedia). I waited almost 30 minutes for a luggage cart for my bags (I was self parking) all the valet’d cars got immediate help w bags. Self parking is very confusing, not explained well at all by check-in or valet crew.

Cleanliness was quite good, the property is a bit dated though. We spent 3 nights, checked out for an overnight stay in San Diego and came back for two more nights. The first room on the 6th floor had a few issues, very difficult bathroom pocket door to open or close and a toilet that liked to keep running. The second room was up on the 9th floor and had no issues plus a much better view (we did enjoy getting upgraded). The staff were all very friendly at the front desk but the kitchen staff seem a bit stressed and hurried. Breakfasts from the menu were good but the buffet breakfast on the last day left a lot to be desired, burnt bacon, limited choices and no pastries or oatmeal of any kind. All in all still a pretty good value and great location
