Not anything like the pics!! Tiny, cold swimming pool in the middle of a parking lot. Rooms dark and gloomy. Stains on window treatments, tiles, bathtub and floor. Manager switched us to much larger room due to no hairdryer mounted on first room, but still dingy. Bed and pillows were comfy. Good location.

We have stayed at the property in South Pasadena often and are always pleased. They were full, so we went to the Green Tree in Pasadena Inn. All was great as specified before, but there were three issues of importance. First, it actually took about 5 minutes to get the hot water in the shower going. I wondered if the tank was broken. I took a luke warm shower, as I got tired of waiting, and thought it was the best I was going to get. By the end of the shower, it was hot.
The most major issue was the AC/Heater pad. We turned the heat on, and it never came on. We reset the pad, it showed locked in, and never came on. We got it to act like it was going to get warm, and we would check to see what was wrong, and it was off. We are familiar with this pad, and all three of us spent the night getting up to fix it, not knowing we had all tried it several times. We honestly had goose bumps. What made this more difficult, was the thin blanket over a sheet. We thought the maids forgot to put our blankets on. I was so cold, I was going to grab a towel to add to the covers, but we used the three we had. All was so clean, but this was one miserable night. I can't imagine this not being an issue with everyone who stays in our room, or the blanket thinness in all of them. It truly felt close to two sheets. If other showers take as long as ours did, the amount of wasted water is close to the amount being used. Very pretty place, but it was a miserable night.

Basic 2 star motel. Room was sparsely stocked (1 towel, soap/shampoo in pump bottles). Air conditioner was off when I first entered the room. Breakfast consisted of cold bagels unable to toast, bananas or apples, and worst of all, no hot coffee available at the counter. Fortunately for me i was at the motel for less than 10 hours only to spend the night on business.

Price for me was $99 from Travelocity but you could get it cheaper by booking direct through the hotel website (figured that out afterward)
Pros: The Staff is excellent at the front desk for check in and check...they do a great job
Cons: (no particular order)
1. No soap in room (had to call down for that) and shower wash cloth hanger not in shower (Staff brought it up when I called-which was great)
2. Shower head does not swivel and water pressure in shower is unable to be lowered
3. TV- blue vertical line running down TV indicating it's broken since it's older
4. Breakfast....THE worst I've ever had - frozen burrito from pack of 20 from store and an apple which was bigger than the burrito even. P.S. burrito dries out in the microwave when heated up
5. Noise - you'll have plenty of street noise/lot noise and walkway noise permeating your zzzz attempts
6. Might see a drug deal going down in the parking area like I did when I arrived; but since I'm from the hood; no biggie for me (they plan on charging for parking so that should dissipate soon)
All in all, an alright budget place to stay in Pasadena during a pandemic
