Although the person on check in was polite, a man was allowed to push infront of me - she had seen I was waiting whilst on the phone and then a guest stepped infront of me and she dealt with him first even though I had been stood there for five minutes which I thought was poor. The room was fine, if a little tired and dated in areas, the shower was complicated to use and it was difficult to turn the temperature up. Bed was large and comfortable. Television service was intermittent and kept breaking up but the room nice and quiet due to being located off the main corridor. The spa area was a huge disappointment. Two members of staff on the desk were too busy showing each other pictures of their phone to acknowledge me and left me stood there wondering what I was supposed to be doing. The spa area was a pig sty - discarded towels, cups and slippers all over the floor. It also said no children after 7:30pm so I deliberately went down at 8:15pm, and there were still children in there running around and splashing. It felt unclean so I did two lengths and left - not an enjoyable experience. The food in Leo’s was fine though £30 is criminal for a burger and Coke Zero. The hotel looks good from the outside but the standards inside do not match unfortunately.

Overall really friendly kind staff. Loved the forgotten items! Was able to not worry about not having lip balm / tweezers and other essentials. The hotel is beautiful. I really enjoyed the decor / art work. The bed was really comfortable. Loved the room and the breakfast teas were amazing. Really want to stay again. But if someone could check the spa more often it would be perfect. Lots of guests couldn’t sit down because of what seemed to be towels left behind. But the pool, hot tub and sauna were great. Thank you ☺️

The breakfast was very limited and the food was always cold and tasted stale and reheated. Also the inside if the fridge was dirty and not cleaned or refreshed the 2 nights i stayed there was a opened can in there on my arrival that is still there.

The room was lovely, excellent value for money and a great location. The lady who checked us in was excellent. The only thing that surprised me was the lack of knowledge the concierge had about the Tower of London when the hotel is so close.

The stay was fine. I've had a much better experience at the sister hotel and expected a similar standard. The pool was so busy with kids (I accept it's half term) but they were literally going wild. And the pool area was filthy dirty. Something should be done about the flies by the cold shower. Breakfast is far better at the Tower Hill hotel. I thought both are 4* so should be similar but really were not.
