Spend evenings relaxing in front of the gorgeous fireplace, cooking a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, or just sipping morning coffee on the large and spacious tree-lined deck, right near the shores of Lake Tahoe. Those looking for a peaceful retreat will love the location at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac that abuts US Forest Service Land.

Large windows showcase the scenic outdoors, and a sliding glass door off the living room leads to the deck. Family meals can be had at the large dining table (which seats 8-10 guests comfortably), and in the full kitchen, you'll have everything you'll need for food preparation. An open floor plan ensures that those that enjoy kitchen duty are never left out of the conversations too. Groups with mobility concerns will appreciate that three of the four bedrooms are all located on the main floor as well, each of them with a dedicated full bath too!

Upstairs, the primary suite offers a little more privacy from the group as well as a queen bed, 32'' flat screen TV and an ensuite bath with double vanity and combination shower and tub.

While skiing is available in winter at nearby Homewood Mountain Resort and a few more miles away at Palisades Tahoe( formally known as Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows), summertime offers many outdoor adventures at these same must-visit spots, not to mention that the beach at Hurricane Bay is less than a 5 minute walk through a woodsy trail and the west shore bike trail is easily accessible from this home too!! Families will also want to check out the Rideout Community Center which is only a short walk away as well. It offers an outdoor playground and athletic fields as well as indoor basketball court and game room.

ABOUT THE AREA

Conveniently located two miles south of Tahoe City, you'll find the quintessential Tahoe neighborhood of Sunnyside. This heavily wooded section on Lake Tahoe's west shore features Old Tahoe style homes and classic cabins. Homes in this neighborhood are all centrally located on between Homewood and Tahoe City.
Just down the road you'll find Sunnyside Resort and Marina and William Kent Shoreline. William Kent beach is situated in a wooded setting and offers picnic tables and grills with views across Lake Tahoe of the eastern shoreline. Next door, Sunnyside Resort is a favorite year round lakeside dining option.
During the ski season, you are less than fifteen minutes from Homewood Mountain Resort. Or travel to Palisades Tahoe (formally known as Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows) which is the largest ski resort in Lake Tahoe. Palisades Tahoe has a shuttle that runs continuously between the base area of Olympic Valley & Alpine Meadows when both resorts are open for operations, weather, and traffic permitting.
