There was only one staff member at the check in counter. It took 20 minutes to get checked in. She was polite but she needed help. The elavators were not in service. There is construction and a lot of noise early in the morning. 7:30 is too early for a casino that keeps late hours.

This place was such a run down old dirty nugget. Beds were worn down, guessing they been around since the turn of the century. Construction everywhere, internet didn't work. Their damn alarm clock would go off at 6am everyday with no way to shut it off. Then their fire alarms went off at like 8am. Place was a dumpy mess that stinks like cigarettes and shame.

I stayed here during my trip to Lake Tahoe and it was such a lovely experience! The view from my window was absolutely incredible — right over the lake. I was honestly surprised to get such a beautiful room since I booked it on the very last day of my trip. It made the experience even more special. Highly recommend staying here! 🌲💙

Terrible service, we ask for something at the front desk the day we arrive (friday) they gave it to us until sunday night and we were leaving on monday, dirty towels at the restroom, room telephone never worked and we reported it since we get there, bellman never arrive once we were leaving and we wait for him around 40 min and call them twice.

Was forced to pay for parking even though I did not use lot. Was not informed ahead of time that the pool was closed, had to pay a resort fee anyway. Coffee shop and one other restaurant open even though they advertise several other restaurants on site. Food there was good however. That’s it for the negative reception staff nice. Good bed in room.

We enjoyed our stay at the Golden Nugget. We got a room in the rear tower which was completely renovated and very nice. Check in was easy and so was parking. There is a daily fee for parking both in the garage and back lot. The back tower is a bit of a walk to the front desk and casino area, but very close to the back parking lot. We walked everywhere, including heavenly village and all the shops and restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
