"This hotel was a strange mix of new updates, worn out old walls, and odd furniture placement. Our room had one desk with two desk chairs and no end tables/night stands. Bed was uncomfortable. Location was not the best - felt a bit shady and had a loud bar nearby (but couldn’t hear it from the room). Our fridge was not cold, likely just plugged in for our stay or maybe broken. Pool was not clean or usable. Would not recommend this hotel. "

"There was no hot water so we could not shower. Multiple rooms had no hot water. We got a "sorry, hope your next stay is better". There was no compensation offered for the inconvenience. This property is adjacent to multiple active railroad tracks; noisy. The room entry doors were warped and did not appear to be very secure. "

"Rooms need to be updated on paint and furniture. Bugs were found on the first night due too the bottom seal missing from the front door . "

"This is an older motel. In my opinion, it is more than a 2 star motel. All rooms are first floor, guaranteed no climbing stairs to a room (-: My room was very clean. The building trim could use some paint to enhance the exterior. Shower was a smaller stall, but was fine for me. I plan to go back again this year for relaxation and exploring. It is very close to Shields Date Farm, where there is a restaurant, date-related gift shop, and The Garden Walk, a free, beautifully done meandering walkway with sculptures and scriptures depicting the entire life of Jesus Christ The Village Coffee Shop is a great place for breakfast; it is located in Citrus Plaza, which is about a mile southwest. "We had a large family gathering in town for my son's wedding. Everyone had a wonderful time! We had 3 generations from age 6 to 90...there was plenty of room to retreat and gather. Eden and Jackie were so friendly and helpful!"
