We recently stayed at the property with our 4 kids for a trip to HersheyPark which is about 15 mins away. The hotel met our needs perfectly. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was great having an both an indoor and outdoor pool, plenty for the kids to do. We ended up staying in the Presidential Suite and there was more than enough room for the 6 of us, and the 3 separate bathrooms was a huge plus. My only knock on the place was the apparent age of the property, it was very clean and well maintained but the age was noticeable.

The property was okay. The soup in bathrooms kept breaking apart, there not enough towels for 4 people and not enough lighting.

Location: approximately 15 minutes from Hershey Park. Shopping center across the street with a Target (in case you forgot anything) as well as a Christmas Tree Shops. Food: There is a restaurant onsite. We received a coupon for free breakfast for 1 day during our 2-day stay. It was a buffet which was OK, but I picked up a container of cereal that expired 2 months ago. Noise: Somewhat energetic. We were located near an outside entrance, and the door slammed hard - people were coming and going every hour during the night. Also, the a/c unit was quite old and noisy. Comfort: Room was OK. Only 1 light in the bathroom made it a little difficult to see in the shower (to shave legs etc.). Overall in definite need of updating, but I will say that the blackout curtains are phenomenal if you need to get some rest during the day. Other: we didn't have a do not disturb sign so we had to make one (not a big deal, just a detail that was missed) and the hallway to our room smelled quite strong of an unpleasant odor which may have been dog poop that was recently cleaned up. The smell was not in our room but it was a bit musty. All in all it wasn't a bad stay. I think if they make some changes like improving the quality of cleaning, not put out expired food and installing better hinges on the doorways by the guest rooms, I think it will make a significant improvement.

My apologies for the expired cereal container on our buffet. I will review with our food and beverage to to ensure expiration dates are checked daily. I also regret to learn of the odor near your room. We do have a couple pet-friendly rooms in that area, but there should never be an odor. I will make sure the AC unit is cleaned, which may have caused the musty odor. We will put a DND sign in the room and fix/replace the hardware on the exterior door by the room we assigned you to. Third time around!

We are from a few miles north but this has been a trip worth while. The last visit was March 1. EVERY staff member is amazing. This is the first time we ate at the restaurant....delicious and more than we could eat at one sitting. We always enjoy the pool but have yet to be guests in the summer. There’s plenty to do in the area if so desired. Will definitely return, the fourth visit!

Clean and quite but dated! Sheets were changed every day and clean. Rooms were very roomy and I enjoyed the indoor pool! Enjoyed our stay!
