When I checked in, I was told that the cottage I had booked was not available (the air conditioner wasn't working) and had been upgraded to the Farmhouse at no additional cost. The Farmhouse was huge, overwhelming, smelled musty like a camp, had beat up furniture, and dirty carpet. There is no staff onsite overnight, it felt creepy and overwhelming for three women who planned to have a cottage. We did not stay, but went elsewhere for accomodations.

This place could be a gem if they put some money into it . Rooms need paint . You need to clean the rooms when someone stays 3 days . Ants in bathroom . Close to rt 30 kitchen kettle down the road . If they put some time into the property it would be a great place to stay.

Check I in was over the phone and the keys were in a lock box at the door, but the gentleman who helped us was most friendly, and it only took a few minutes. The cottage itself was very large and very clean, conveniently located to all of the shops and antique stores we wanted to visit, and it was so nice having a private space with no one near us for a good nights rest after - highly recommend!
