Property was wonderful and hotel staff excellent. Bistro 2Two2 was HORRIBLE. Wait staff working hard, but too few. 1 hour 15 minutes to be served our initial drink order, food (salmon and vegetables overcooked); it was a 2 1/2 hour ordeal of waiting for beverages and food. NOTE: Bar tender acknowledged receipt of our drink order, but didn't know what happened to it and yelled 'DO YOU WANT THE DRINKS NOW OR WHAT' Absolutely unacceptable behavior. Escalated to manager who was apologetic.

My family and I have stayed at this resort many times before and mostly had decent stays. This time, the checkin process was somewhat unpleasant as the front desk manager that was helping us wasn't that helpful and kept talking over me every time I asked something (huge red flag when you work in a customer service). She mentioned few times that I used a third party(Expedia) for booking and if I didn't like something I should take it up to them. The overall experience was okay but this place is very disorganized.

There was a very long line to check-in (even though I had re-registered). Many people were waiting because their rooms were not yet available. Upon entering our room, it was unlocked because there was maintenance worker in the bathroom fixing the fan. He was very nice and was finished within a few minutes, but the bathroom floor and tub was left dusty with particles from the fan and ceiling. Everything else was fine/average. Pools were fun but crowded.

Incidental fees

We enjoyed our stay, everything was excellent. There was some confusion with the incidental fee. I was being charged $100 per night. I thought it was just $100 and that was it. Other than that, we had a great time. Geoff
