This is a beautiful hotel with great activities for people of all ages and an excellent atmosphere. The service was not really at that same level. This was a bit of a disappointment because this place has so much going for it.

The staff at this property are INCREDIBLE. Every person we interacted with was kind and gracious. The property was originally built to house guests in the summer only, and we found the bathroom floor in our room VERY cold. We were on the first floor of the Evitt House section. The upper floors will most likely be warmer. The hiking, indoor pool, and exploring the property itself-were full of historic charm and originality. There is peace and quiet to be had in the woods, and enjoying the various springs is worthwhile.
