A lovely getaway
My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. This cabin is beautiful and while it’s definitely a sleepy area this time of year, we took advantage of the many games they had, the outdoor fire pit, and the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked with spices for cooking, and the town of Bethel isn’t too far if you wanted to have a meal out. I’d definitely recommend this cabin, especially if you’re looking for something pet friendly.

Great get-a-way!
We had our annual girls get-a-way here, and the house was great! It is located in a beautiful, quiet, and private area. At night, the sky is beautiful while enjoying the fire pit and/or hot tub! I brought my dog to stay with us, and the house is clearly designed by a true dog lover! The house was also very clean, warm, and inviting. I would definitely recommend!

Amazing trip to sunday river!
Property was just 25 minutes from sunday river - very clean and spacious. The hot tub was a great feature for after a long day on the mountain. I would definitely go back and stay in the same place! 4WD was required to access the property, as it was off a dirt road that became muddy, but that is listed in the description. Overall great experience!

Cozy private cabin with skiing nearby
My husband and I celebrated my 40th with a weekend away at this cozy cabin. The owners did a nice job decorating it with modern rustic touches, and as dog lovers despite not owning one, we loved all the nods to man’s best friend. The kitchen had most items needed from pots and pans to a cheese grater and salt and pepper and other spices. We loved the bar style table that allowed you to watch the tv while sipping a beverage. The hot tub was just a stone’s throw from the porch and you could see quite a few stars on a clear night. The fireplace heats the place nice but be sure to read all the instructions to make sure you have the flew open and that the fire is going before shutting the door to it. The owners left a manual with instructions and some good restaurant recs. Lastly while there wasn’t much snow, we loved the Mt Abram slope that was just about 10 minutes away. Thanks for letting us stay at your place!

"Ava Girl" Approved - 2 Paws Up!
When your dog needs a vacation just as much as you do, I can't think of a better place than a uniquely appointed, warm and cozy, log cabin in the woods. I've had my eye on this place for some time and, after a change of our plans in August, it just so happened to be available for our dates in Sep. From the lighted front porch upon arrival, walking into the living area and kitchen, and exploring the fenced in back yard, screened in deck, and of course the hot tub and fire pit, we knew we would feel at home. Surprisingly, our Ava didn't want to explore the fenced in yard as much as we thought. She much prefers to be hiking out and about and there are numerous trails close by or within a short driving distance. We "rescued" our sister and brother-in-law from their camping trip in Old Orchard Beach when the rain was arriving and they enjoyed staying with us for 2 of the nights where we played cards at the oak barrel table and caught up on our favorite shows (we brought our own Roku stick). Ava enjoyed curing up on the couch or keeping card at night by the fire pit. She was a happy girl !! The one hiccup was the vacasa mgmt response - we asked if there would be firewood provided or if we should bring or acquire our own. They told us firewood was not provided and no bonfires were allowed. So we packed half our trunk with firewood only to find out that fire wood was available. We used both. They also texted is at 5:30pm to let us know early check-in was available when we had already been there since 4:15ish. All in all, the pics don't do the property justice and we would stay again and again and hope to book in the future - maybe the fall of 2023 after our honeymoon.

Family Getaway
Loved this property. It’s beautiful and the pictures accurately depict it. It was perfect for relaxing. Lots of seating options indoor and out. The kids loved the hot tub. I sat every morning on the lanai enjoying my coffee. The bathrooms were spotless and the kitchen was great to cook in. It was a great place to spend time with family.
