Time share

Location: Smokey Mountains were beautiful
Guess I didn't pay attention this is a time share property. Not enough parking or sidewalks for the amount of pedestrians. Food at the restaurant was horrible! Resort fee is ridiculous out of season and if you aren't using the gym or shuttles. It took any where from 15 to 30 minutes just to exit the property becsuse of the poor planning intersection. Traffic to and from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was horrible. Stay in town!!!

We are a timeshare resort but certainly welcome our guests to experience what we have to offer. It is unfortunate to hear that you experienced a less than desirable visit. Although a rare occurrence, anytime a guest is not satisfied or not comfortable for any reason it becomes a top concern, as guest satisfaction and comfort remain our number one priority. We are during high peak season and parking can be an inconveniences but this is why we provide shuttle service throughout the property. It is our hope that you advised our server of the meal, as they would have been more than happy to replace it for you. We hope that you allow us another opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future. Lissy

Huge Space, Great Staff

Pros: You never needed to leave the property. There is an onsite convenience store with decent prices for being a resort.
Cons: The only thing that I had trouble with was a fickle coffeemaker.
Location: Water park, 2 pools, gameroom, and multiple lounges and restaurants onsite. Dollywood is nearby, and lots to do and see in Pigeon Forge nearby.
We basically stayed in an apartment with a TV in the bedroom with a king-sized bed, a TV with DVD player in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen with full-sized fridge, and a luxuriosly large bathtub with jets in the bathroom. The space was clean except for a waterbug that escaped from the drain because we forgot to stop it back up after all the water drained. They provide a voucher for a free bag of coffee complete with filter, non-dairy creamer, and sweeteners as well a a bag of laundry detergent. There were laundry facilities in every building. Even if the onsite shuttle didn't appear often, all of the staff would wave and makes sure you hadn't waited long at the shuttle stop. One even gave us a ride in the guest golf cart since he had seen us on his was to showing a guest their lodgings and on the way back.

Views were beautiful.

Everything was great had a great time. Close to all areas steps were somewhat of a challenge climbing to the third floor with no elevator carrying suitcases and all other things. Took about 3trips up and down. At 70 and my husband having open heart surgery last year took him awhile. Otherwise good trips

Thank you so much for sharing your kind words. We are glad that you had a great time at our resort. We regret to hear that you experienced difficulties with getting to your unit. We always advise our guests to request for a ground floor or a building with an elevator to accommodate your needs upon check in. We hope that you come back and visit us again soon! Lissy

My experience

When we arrived, we were treated very well. We were pushed into doing a 90 min tour of the facility, this turned into a 5 hour ordeal in which we said NO 5 times and they kept pushing. When we finally told them we were done, they made us feel stupid for not accepting their offer. I then went to the restroom and walked in on the lady who was trying to sale us the time share and she was talking about me and my husband. They are very unprofessional when it comes to that.

Very over rated, not impressed!

Arrived at 7 pm, took 30 minutes to get to room, elevator didn't work, requested different room without stairs. Finally got room at 11pm. Bed wrong size, no shower curtain, no sheets for pull out couch. Things were not improved until mid afternoon the next day. Dinner 1st night was terrible (sent back, still not good).

Over-priced, Over-hyped

Pros: Bed was comfortable, room was clean.
Cons: Keep up with room repairs! Be more forthcoming about fees and extra-costs.
Location: Well located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, plenty of things to do with the family, kids, or adults.
The room had damages, which we had to point out to the staff upon check-in, so we wouldn't be charged for room damages. The indoor water-park was extra-cost, which was not listed anywhere in the description (although the $10/night fee was implied in the description to be the water-park admission, which it was NOT). Tons of kids (with water-park arm-bands) were in the outdoor pool day and night, which made it less than relaxing for adults. The room was well decorated, bed was comfortable, linens were clean, but I've been in nicer Holiday-Inn Express (for cheaper). I only wish (for the price) that the room and overall hotel had been nicer. I felt I paid for a 4-star stay, but received a 2-star experience. I could have rented a cabin for the same price and had a more relaxing stay, peace-and-quiet, and a jacuzzi all to ourselves! I visit Gatlinburg regularly, and this hotel is off my list of recommended stays... price/value is the primary reason.

Beautiful hotel nestled in the mountains

Pros: I loved the layout of the hotel. It reminded me of a cabin in the mountains with all the modern amenities.
Cons: The parking lots were terribly congested at times and sometimes hard to maneuver through.
Location: A slight drive either direction can get you to a nearby town to partake of the festivities. I especially like downtown gaitlinburg.
I absolutely loved the hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again! Although most of the amusement rides were closed due to the cold weather, the sites were still nice to behold. The room itself was very comfortable and quite cozy. I especially enjoyed the discounts offered by the hotel. The only thing that was disappointing was that I scheduled a few massages for my significant other and myself. There were not enough open slots to get it accomplished together so I went earlier in the morning. Mine was lovely; however, when she went to try and get everything I set up for her in the afternoon, the staff couldn't accommodate a foot massage because they didn't have enough time to get everything done. I am very flexible, but I would have appreciated it if I had known about that from the time I first scheduled everything. Still, it was a beautiful experience nonetheless.
