Great stay, troubled wife.

The stay was great. The Rooms were nice every bedroom had a bathroom except downstairs they had to share. The heat didn’t work downstairs so the ones in the bedrooms had to use a personal heater which took a while to heat up. The wifi also didn’t work no matter how many times we tried. So upstairs you could watch cable but downstairs you couldn’t watch anything. The toilet was broken downstairs and we had to fix it the first night we were there, the chain had rusted so bad you couldn’t flush the toilet. Location was great to downtown and very easy to get to. Dominos also delivers to the cabin. So all in all we would definitely stay again just gotta make sure those few things were fixed.

House was fine. Would like instructions on getting the tv's to work. Sofa bed was terrible and nasty. Mattress was stained and filled with crumbs when we unfolded it. other than that it was great.

When I booked this cabin for a family vacation, I was thrilled as it had everything I was looking for! Upon arrival, I was immediately disappointed. The cleanliness and upkeep of this cabin was horrible. There were dead insects all throughout the cabin. I'm not sure if the cabin is thoroughly cleaned before each rental. While I understand I did book a cabin in the wood's, I'm not sure the last time someone cleaned the outside. There was trash in the grassy area in the back, cobwebs all over the cabin. When walking outside to sit on the deck, I have to duck and dodge spiderweb after spiderweb, it doesn't make for a relaxing evening. After settling in, the family wanted to play a couple games of pool, but we quickly found out that the pool table was broken on one side as well as missing some of the balls. This upset me since this was something the family was looking forward to that night. My husband and I stayed in the bedroom with the king size bed. We woke up the next morning to find out that the shower was broken. I reported this, but later received a call that the maintenance person was going to look at it that day. I later received a text message stating that the shower was broken and couldn't be used until it was fixed. We never received any other communication about it being fixed. This really upset me! This cabin having 3 full bathrooms was the biggest reason I booked this cabin. So for the entire trip, my husband and I didn't have our own bathroom but instead had to use a separate showers once others in the family were finished. I feel mislead by everything that I read about this cabin as well as the pictures!!!

Amazing Getaway!

Bravo! This cabin is absolutely the nicest place we have stayed. Super clean, large bedrooms, decks and a great hot tub which we used every night! We had a little problem with some of the TVs, one no sound and another no channels but that also could have been operator error. We definitely would rent this again, maybe even next year! How about a discount for returnees?!

Review of Cabin

The cabin was fine. I thought for the price it did need some upgrading. Microwave door had tape on it. Both upstairs bathrooms had paint swatches, the tiles floors upstairs have places that are uneven and are a tripping hazzard. The deck could some repairs. Overall though my family did enjoy our stay.

Check in was easy. Downstairs had large dead flies on the floor when we arrived and later the live flies circled the downstairs inside lights. 2 Spiders in upstairs bathroom, critters scampered in upstairs overhead area in lower bedroom around 4am. THEN a Rat ran cross kitchen floor on Thursday morning at 7am when I went up to make coffee. Coffee maker broken, no ironing board, no remote for downstairs tv, only 2 packets of laundry detergent. Unit was not clean. No hot tub towels making bath towel quantity inadequate and Tupperware containers without lids

This cabin was perfect for our family of 10!! More than enough space for everyone!! Large bedrooms and bathrooms!! Beautiful decks on each level, great game room!! The check in was easy & it had plenty of space for my party of 10. The reasons I gave it a 3 is bc the carpet on stairs is dirty, there is a slight smell to the cabin, & the pool table is about to fall apart. We spent a day & half there so for the price it was worth it. However we thought the pool table would be in better shape. The beds don't fit the frames correctly & not a one was comfortable to sleep on. This cabin has alot of potential but it needs some major updates.

We enjoyed our stay and the listing was accurate. We had a couple issues with the cleanliness of the property. Upon arrival, outside the front door was garbage and the 1st impression we had was a tampon/applicator in front of the 1st step into the cabin. Also the pull out mattress was stained and had bugs and hair on it so we weren't able to use it which meant all 10 of us that stayed didn't have a place to sleep. Over all nice area and nice cabin but they may need to hire a new cleaning service.

Ok, but one large Issue

The cabin was nice, neat and clean. Rugs were cute and set the scene, but were outdated and was creating trip hazards. The buckets to utilize for used charcoals were full upon our arrival. Plenty of towels, trash bags, kitchen ware, utensils, tissue, paper towels for our utilization. Plenty of trash cans. Jacuzzi was fantastic! Major issue: A can of Bed Bug spray was on the kitchen counter....absolutely made everyone uncomfortable at arrival! We examined every bed, pillow, blanket, sheets and mattress, then used 4 cans of Lysol. Leaving a can of Bed Bug spray on your kitchen counter is a Horrible Look.

The cabin is in a wooded area with a slight view of the mountains. When we first arrived at 4:30 pm the water was completely shut off. We had to contact the bear Tootin team They contacted the owner then the maintainer man who came out at 1030 pm at night to turn it back on. It was an inconvenience to have it off but it was great to have the maintenance man come out of his way to turn it back on. The cabin wasn’t all as clean and up kept. My daughter went out of her way and cleaned it before we did anything. The stairs ahead stains on them as well as the downstairs hall. The downstairs bathroom had bad water stains in the bathroom above the shower and it looked as if one of the tiles in the roof was going to collapse from pressure. I understand that it’s not the cabin that makes the vacation but it sure was a lot of money spent for an definite need of love home.
