"Back again"
From my past experiences having stayed at this hotel at least 3 other times I knew that it had physical issues that I was wiling to overlook. However, it was in poorer condition than I had expected. Nonetheless, the service was excellent and needs were satisfied. The bar was always a welcome respite after seeing a show and wanting to discuss and unwind.

"Spacious suites"
We booked a king suite through Travelocity at the pay-in-advance rate of $220 per night. The room was huge! It may have formerly been an apartment because it had a dining room, wet bar, living room with sleeper sofa, bedroom, bathroom, and at least 3 closets. The amenities were were older (circa 40's or 50's) but all functional and it added charm in our opinion. Plus it was walking distance to Central Park, MTA, and Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and Carnegie Deli. Would definitely stay again.
Traveller from Concord, CA

"Perfect location by "Ground Zero"."
The lobby staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant on the 20th floor has excellent food, and the staff is superb. The room was small and accomodating, but could have used a thorough vacuuming. The bathroom was modern and clean, included a hair dryer, and a shaving/make-up mirror on the wall. The room includes is a Keureg (sp) coffee maker. Our floor had a water bottle station so we could take water with us on our excursions. There are irons/ironing boards on each floor. The location of the hotel was perfect for our trip -- walking distance to the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Ferry, and very close to shopping. We were directly across the street from "Ground Zero", and a block away from a subway station.

"Comfortable Hotel Close to Subway "
Hotel 32/32 is a great value. Staff was very friendly and rooms were very clean. Rooms are small, but comfortable. When visiting the city, one doesn't usually spend much time ones hotel room.. The subway is a half block away, so getting anywhere in NYC is convenient. It was perfect for us. They were very happy to hold our bags when we arrived before check-in and after check-out when we had an evening flight. Breakfast was included via a voucher to a local restaurant. We very much recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

"good location"
It took 55 minutes to get checked in and they were overwhelmed or what , but not too friendly . Modern very noisy , my room was small but nicely done and clean. Cleverly the end of halls had enlarged photos of streets and made very narrow hallways less so. Elevators very modern I did not have time to use their exercise room , but when I arrived , they wanted to charge me 250plus as Resort fees. I protested strongly. They reduced it to 150 pus , which I found still too high. If I tell them that I will not use their exercise rooms they should not charge. It was not mentioned on the Travelocity site either. There were other fees besides- like airplanes now: they charge for breathing soon.

Manhattan's Garment District, also known as the Fashion District, covers less than one square mile between Fifth Avenue and Ninth Avenue, yet its compact area comprises one of the world's foremost centers of fashion design and manufacturing. Since the early 20th century, it's been home to fabric warehouses, plus the fashion houses and showrooms of some of the biggest names in the industry. Choose hotels in the Garment District and spend your New York vacation in style.

Choose to rent a car, take a taxi, or ride the NYC Airporter bus to and from Pennsylvania Station, which is within walking distance of Garment District hotels. As you approach the area, you might see a giant sculpture of a needle passing through the hole of a button, an iconic Garment District landmark at Seventh and 39th. Underneath is a booth offering visitor information about the area. Stop in and learn about local attractions, including the Fashion Walk of Fame. This stretch of Fashion Avenue leading south from Times Square features 26 granite and white bronze plaques honoring the most influential designers in the fashion industry, including Calvin Klein, Diane von Furstenberg, and Ralph Lauren. Cheap hotels in the Garment District also put you within easy reach of some of Manhattan's most famous tourist attractions, including Times Square, Broadway and the Theater District, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and the Empire State Building.
