"Girls' weekend in Boston at the Boxer"
I met a friend who was in the Boston area for the Thanksgiving holiday and booked The Boxer for our overnight stay. The hotel was a wonderful mix of old-fashioned and contemporary. The staff was courteous and helpful and the accommodations were very comfortable. The bed and linens were dreamy and I loved the L'Occitane bath products. The hotel was well-situated for our exploring. If it hadn't been raining, I would have enjoyed using one of the hotel's bicycles.

"Excellent hotel!!"
Excellent hotel due to friendliness of staff, exceptional food/beverage quality and very attentive bar/restaurant staff. The location is excellent for ease of access to the Cambridge sites, great nearby restaurants and shopping, and short distance from the 4th Of July Charles River viewing of the events. The maid staff are very friendly and attentive to our needs/requests, and the hotel check-in/front desk staff very welcoming and aided in providing directions and accommodations needs. We have been staying at the Le Meridien MIT for the past 8 years and have never been let down. "Mike" at the restaurant/bar provided noteworthy service and very attentive to our needs during our stay, and was very helpful in offering nearby sightseeing and transit tips. We do however, miss "Gabe" who took care of our needs during our prior 7 years of frequenting the hotel's restaurant, but had recently left for another job.

"Our new favorite Boston hotel"
My husband and I live just outside Boston and we try to do an overnight at least once a year to celebrate milestones (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.). Our typical go-to is the Royal Sonesta (the site of our wedding) but since the renovations a year or two ago, its lost some of the nostalgia we used to feel going there. Instead, for my birthday this year we decided to stay at the Intercontinental, we love the area (although quiet at night) and we'd heard great things about the hotel. We reserved a standard King City View room and my husband made a note in the comments about celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted by super friendly hotel staff who informed us that we had been upgraded to a harbor-view room. The room was gorgeous and the view was spectacular; our plan was to hang out, use the facilities and go to dinner in the lobby at Rumba or Miel. We ordered some cheese & crackers from Room Service which was really lovely and then shortly after had a knock on the door. The gentleman from room service greeted us with DELICIOUS chocolate raspberry moose cake (with happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate) and a bottle of chilled Prosecco (my favorite). We enjoyed the rest of our stay and had a great time checking out all the facilities at the hotel. Honestly, we couldn't have had a better time and we were made to feel SO special by the hotel staff - I can't wait to stay there again for our next occasion! Thank you!!!

"Wonderful hotel near the theatre district"
The hotel was very modern and rooms were spacious. I loved the aroma therapy (though a little strong in the lobby), but the shampoo, conditioner, and soaps were wonderful. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Service was quick and the concierge was very helpful in answering questions and helping with arrangements. The hotel offers night life, but is also family friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting it again!

Loved the hotel in an old prison. Glass of champagne when you check in. Walk to Boston Commons and lots of great places to eat and shop. Run along the Charles. Does not come cheap though!

"A terrific goldmine of comfort"
We had been to a family reunion 5 years ago and finished our trip in Boston. We stayed at a "4 star" hotel where the Boston Cream Pie originated. You know the one. Horrible, tiny room overlooking the garbage cans. The birds came to the windows!! This trip I wanted to stay closer to the water. From the moment we pulled up to the valet to the checkout the Renaissance was fabulous. check in early was wonderful hassle free. The room was bigger then my room at home. Clean, comfort. KIng bed with lounge chair/ottoman and side table by the window. Bathroom was spacious and shower big. Even the water pressure was good. We could see Liberty harbor from the window. I can not recommend highly enough this hotel. The total perfect stay.

XV Beacon is simply the best hotel my husband and I have EVER stayed at! The rooms are luxerious, the staff is extremely helpful and polite. The concerige helped me arrange a special anniversay evening (i.e made reservations for a show and dinner) plus the town car service took us any where else we wanted to go. They truly went above and beyond. We will stay here any time time we are in Boston!
