The front desk staff were all very helpful and friendly. The maid service personnel were all helpful and friendly as well. The cable tv, mini fridge and room-safe were great, and I was able to rent a microwave during my stay. Although I didn't use the heated pool this time, I will next trip. The charge for my stay was also very reasonable. The only thing I'd change is the chage for parking--should be free for hotel guests. RNR 02/20/25

Good reviews disappointed me.

I had high hopes staying here for a night. We requested a room with a good view and in a quiet area. We were given a view of electrical transformers, parking lot and the rest of the equipment that runs the hotel. The idea of the theme of the hotel attracted us to book. Everything is very outdated. Everything smells old. And it feels more like an old motel than a hotel.

Cleanest, cheapest motel style property in San Diego I've found. Nothing fancy, but when you walk in you can smell the clean. Only reason I'd stay anywhere else would be if I needed luxurious accomodations.

We were stuck back in the corner room on the first floor, right next to the custodial / maintenance room. They started their days around 6 am and had no concept that people were still trying to sleep.

The staff makes this place the best. They are kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place for people with kids. The pool and jacuzzi are the best. Plus you get to be next to the Waffle Spot which is the best.
