Confusing charges and worn out staff.

the hotel was under construction, but difficult to figure out. We had also stayed at the hotel right behind it (which was nicer) for the same price a few week before, but with no up charge on parking, which seemed like a scam, because there was plenty of parking.

I wasn’t made aware that the property was under construction. I had to walk through a construction area with my toddler to get into the building to check in. We were also advised to leave our shades closed because workers could be working in areas where they would be outside the windows.

The room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We arrived pretty late at about 10:30pm and there was nobody there at the front desk. She was in the back and didn’t come out for at least 5 minutes. We were tired and just wanted to get our key. There was some construction going on which I was not aware of when I booked the room.
