Me and my husband had an unforgettable time at Royal Sonesta. Sotarra made our trip very special and went above and beyond with the excellent customer service. We arrived very early and our check out was quick with happy surprises. They really treated us like royalty. The room view of the riverwalk was breathtaking. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel had a great location and was in the middle of everything( riverwalk, restaurants, attractions). Everything was a quick walk and the hotel and restaurant staff was very knowledgeable on places to go. We went for the Beyoncé concert and it was the hub for Beyoncé vip stuff and had signature drinks at the hotel. Me and my husband will def return here.

Honestly terrible. Valet took an hour to get my car, wasn’t rude or anything to them, after 40 mins I went up to them asked where my car is showed them my confirmation texts and they acted like they didn’t receive it even though I got a text back. Then it took an additional 20 mins even though I seen them just standing there talking. We ended up being an hour late to our concert, tried to speak to someone about it and the manager was very rude and slick, showed zero compassion. The only person who did an outstanding job was Lucas he was so sweet and helpful from the moment we pulled up to the hotel. We didn’t even stay overnight we checked out after being there for only 3 hours and also didn’t give us the room we originally booked too…I say keep your money. They charge $75 for valet that sucks and wanna charge $600+ per room gtfoh

The location for sight seeing is ideal. You are a few steps away from Riverwalk, walking distance to Millennium Park and really close to Magnificent Mile for shopping. The staff is amazing. Great Stay, but rude neighbor for 1 night of 5

The overall stay was very nice and the staff was great. Our first day/night of the stay was a little bumpy due to our next door neighbor guest. I had to call the front desk two times due to loud and foul yelling and then for cigarette smoke. We had an adjoining doorway, so the noise and smell came right through. They sent security two times and finally asked the guest to leave, who had been there a month we found out. Learned the room was in horrible condition. Note to RS, if you have a guest staying longer than a week and they do not let housekeeping in - you have a problem. Every hotel should check a guest room if they are there a week or more and no one has had access to the room,
