"I'm so going here again."
First of all, the hotel has a shuttle that comes and picks you up from the airport. The same shuttle will also take you to the train station and a local shopping mall. Call me easily satisfied, but it's definitely cheaper than grabbing a taxi or taking the train to the airport. The staff was very kind and helpful, they spoke great English and truly didn't get exasperated with my constant and annoying lack of knowledge. The room was neat and clean, with pristine white sheets and a robe and slippers waiting for me to use. I did have to pay extra for internet, but it wasn't a bank breaking amount considering some hotels I have seen. I also dished out a little extra for the breakfast buffet and it was worth it. Not terrible variety, but good food anyway and a great way to start the day. It was always pretty peaceful and relaxing and I thoroughly enjoyed staying there. When I go back, this is the hotel I'll be booking again.

"Great location for airport access"
We combined trips to Taiwan and Japan with low-cost carrier flights, and ended up needed to stay one night (about 18 hours total) near Narita Airport. I chose this hotel based on its proximity to Narita Station, which is on the Keisei Main Line, one stop from Narita Terminal One (about 7-8 minutes on the train). The hotel is a few steps away from the station's east exit, so it's really handy for getting to and from the airport. In fact, even though the hotel offers a free shuttle, we found it easier to just take the train, which runs much more frequently. There are plenty of restaurants and gift shops near the hotel, and the Naritashan temple complex is about 15 minutes by foot from the hotel. We spent a nice morning looking around there before catching our flight. It probably goes without saying that the room was small, but it was perfectly clean and comfortable. I'd stay here again.

"Very Nice Stay"
We needed a place to stay for one night before our flight home. This hotel worked really well. The price was half of anything near Tokyo or Shinagawa stations and the location was perfect... 8 minute downhill walk from the JR Station (NEX) and easy walking distance to the AEON mall and the "old" part of town near the station... both perfect for last minute souvenirs. The hotel was clean, updated, and comfortable. The free airport shuttle doesn't run from 11:40 am to 4:00 pm so it didn't work for our 5:00 pm flight. We changed our plans to take the train to NRT because it was pouring rain... The cab ride took 25 minutes (Terminal 1 -UAL) and cost 3,400 ¥. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed our last few hours in Japan - both in Narita City and at the Richmond Hotel.

"What are you looking for?"
I was just there overnight so I wanted a place close to the airport. This place was great. It provided a shuttle service. Although the first shuttle was at 7a.m. I think if I had an earlier flight it would have been a problem but it worked out for me. The location was great. A wonderful walk to the Shinshoji Temple. It is a beautiful and peaceful place. I got up early and went in the morning and it was wonderful to hear the chanting and seeing the adherents enterning and praying. I saw many great looking restaurants but was feeling up to eating much but I am sure the food was great. I book a room again. I was a bit nervous because I never found a temperature controller in the room but I slept well and it was fine. The bed is a typical Asian "firm" bed. Considering how expensive Japan is I thought the price was very good.

"Great Facility for a Traveler to Sleep at Airport"
A unique experience to sleep at a "Capsule" hotel that is modern, clean, quiet and efficient. Perfect for resting/jet lag adjustment after a long flight right at the airport, that is inexpensive. Amazed at how everyone from different background and nationalities can all be courteous and stay quiet at the facility so that we can all do what we were there for, that was to sleep and rest up.

"I would stay again."
I upgraded my room to a junior suite for $70/night more. It was a fantastic room, very spacious living area, excellent seat and couch, and in addition it had an assortment of Keurig cartridges for coffee for free. The view was excellent. There were motorized drape/curtain opener/closers at bedside. Breakfast which you pay discounted price at check in time (minus $5/person) was also outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"would only recommend for free shuttle"
Hotel is old and showing it's age. location is only good for overnight connection as not close to Narita town. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful, all spoke english. The free shuttle to and from the airport and Narita is very good and on time. Would recommend if you are just connecting and need a place overnight.
