Decent Stay for the
The place pretty much was as advertised, but you have to really comb through the long description and check-in dissertation to find out more info.Parking: AC only offers 3hr parking limits in most places, and the closest full-time parking to this condo is over 5 blocks away at Stockton College parking garage (15/day). Not terrible unless you need to constantly shlep things back and forth from your car because it's difficult to maneuver items up and down the 3 flights of stairs (which are called out) to the condo.Neighborhood: Definitely in a nicer area outside the hustle and bustle of downtown AC, and the beach access right at this place is great with such a small crowd. That can't be beat especially for the price! Renter beware though - all the neighbors, including the high-rise across the street, were extremely rude to us renters. Due to the parking situation (see above) it was near impossible to unload/load easily and everyone around us was not happy we were there (maybe don't buy a condo in AC if you don't want renters there...lol!). It was off-putting, but oh well we'll never see those people again. The unit: Definitely as advertised. Old building and some of the walls/ceiling were falling apart. Has a great rustic charm with some updated amenities. The a/c took quite a while to cool down but it was blowing. Beware there are street/building lights that shine brightly through the back two main bedrooms ALL NIGHT, no matter how you tilt the blinds.
