The hotel staff was friendly . Room wasn’t updated but it was spacious , clean , had a tv and mini fridge . They serve bagels , muffins , and hot drinks in the morning which is a bonus . The muffins are HUGE! I have no complaints and would definitely book with them again .

Checked in and the AC was broken. Room was 82 degrees. It was late, so t we were offered fans, but due to asthma, we were unable to stay. We checked out 20 min later and now have to fight for a refund.

"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. UNACCEPTABLE.
The service at both check-in and check-out was absolutely DISGRACEFUL. Extremely rude staff, zero courtesy, zero professionalism. I am a World of Hyatt member and stay at Hyatt properties frequently. I have NEVER been treated this badly. Not even close. This was by far the WORST experience I’ve had with the brand. I do NOT recommend this hotel.
The room smelled like cigarette smoke, completely unacceptable and we had to request a room change immediately. The elevators were dirty and clearly not well maintained.
But the most shocking part? The HORRIBLE attitude of the staff. Completely unacceptable for a hotel of this level.
I will NOT be returning to Hyatt Grand Central New York. Ever."
