This house was a great fit for our family. We stayed for over a week, during which we mixed work and vacation time. The 4 beds/baths meant that everybody had private space to work when needed. The community space is open and inviting, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything -- appliances, utensils, cookware, etc -- needed to cook gourmet meals. And the living room has lots of cozy seating for an evening family movie. At night the neighborhood is quiet and the beds were comfortable; we all slept well.
We also loved bringing our dog on vacation. We were excited about letting her enjoy the backyard, but unfortunately it is not completely fenced in. This might not be the case long-term since it looked like there was some work in-progress.
The location of the house is super convenient to big-box/grocery shopping in the Midway district, Liberty Market shops, Ocean Beach restaurants and bars and of course the beach. SeaWorld, downtown, and the Zoo are a short drive away.
There is no question that this neighborhood is under the takeoff path of the airport. Sleeping was not an issue (no flights at night I guess) but we could hear (and see) jets flying overhead frequently throughout the day. With the windows closed it was noticeable but not disruptive. In the backyard we'd pause our conversation. Overall it didn't bother us but if you are sensitive to airport noise you should probably avoid the entire Ocean Beach area.
