Absolutely Amazing

The house is perfect and Bass Lake Dr is a gem up on the mountain. It provided an amazing home base away from home and the scenery is beautiful. The owners are amazing people who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We can’t wait to come back.

Great weekend in Brevard area

We took a quick weekend trip and found the cottage to be impeccably clean. Great, fast communication with owners. The kitchen had what we needed and the beds were comfortable. We will say "secluded" in the title isn't quite as secluded, but that did not affect our 5-star rating because we loved it so much and the neighborhood was super quiet. The garden out front is gorgeous, too. We would definitely book again. SO much to do in the area! If you're looking for ideas, we spent a wonderful 2 days hiking to see waterfalls at DuPont Forest, lunch at Ecusta Brewing, tubing twice down the French Broad River, dinner and live music at Mills River Brewing, walking around downtown Brevard, driving up Hwy. 276 through Pisgah Forest to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and into downtown Asheville.

Great for a quick weekend away!

This property is comfortable and clean, very well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Listing says “secluded” - we didn’t feel it was in a secluded location. Overall a great place though!

Bass Lake

The house was lovely and well appointed. The deck was a big hit with everyone and provided hours of bird watching. This was our first Vrbo experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Next time we'll planning a longer stay!

Beautiful Views !!!!

Nice house, very clean. Kitchen has all the essentials, plenty of towels in the bathroom …. Great plus for us. Well decorated, we used the outdoors grill one night while enjoying the views and sipping some wine after 5 hours of mountain biking in DuPont Park…. We had a wonderful time !!!!

Brevard white squirrels

The house was perfect size for two in a quite hilltop community. Had a great time exploring the small towns around Asheville this time . Loved Black Mountain, Brevard and Chimney Rock. Saw a bunch of white squirrels in the area also . Learned that 20% of the squirrels in the area are white. Would recommend this house and area to anyone

Neighborhood was not what we expected but we rarely saw anybody. Bed was super comfortable. Close proximity to everything we had planned. Clean with everything we needed.

The house is exactly as described, well-furnished and comfortably furnished. The only concern was inability to contact the property manager using the information provided: Had we encountered problems with the rentail (which we didn't), we were concerned that we would have been left on our own to resolved them.

Clean and Easy Access to Outdoor Fun

My family and I both remarked all weekend about how clean the entire house was. Check in/check out was simple. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood but we never felt bothered by anyone or like we were intruding. In fact, we only saw one other person the whole time we were there. We really enjoyed the view of the trees while relaxing on the back porch. It’s a quick trip to Brevard for local dining/shops and lots of nearby access to beautiful hikes and waterfalls!

Cheerful in the woods. Cozy but comfortable. There were a couple of small things missing, i.e., soap in the bathroom, laundry detergent rather than an empty bottle and a bedside table. But otherwise, all good.

Lovely stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, semi-secluded home. Well-appointed, just the right size for our family (two adults and teenager). Beautiful backyard/deck area. Lots of trees and mature landscaping. Had all we needed to cook at home. Great nearby waterfall trails. And just about 45 mins to Asheville. Also very friendly and responsive property manager. We would definitely recommend this lovely vrbo!

Great little cabin

We have a home in Asheville and it was rented and we couldn't stay there so we picked this property for our weekend trip. Easy to find, very clean, exactly as described. We enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it.

Chasing Waterfalls

House was well appointed, updated, comfortable beds. You will need a SUV or truck to get up the last part of the driveway. Close to several waterfalls and dinner options in Brevard. Loved it!

Perfect location and great house

My whole family loved this place. We stayed for a week. And we were sad to leave. We already want to come back. Everything is there and the location is fantastic if you want to hike. Only one thing. This beautiful and convenient house is located on a top of a hill. You will really need a SUV to use the road to access the driveway. Not for the climbing. There are a lot of potholes to access the property by this road. Nothing to do with the house or the guests. Just the whole community will need to fix it.

Awesome Waterfalls

Property was great in a great location. Only issue was dryer was not working and we had not brought a lot of clothes cause we were planning on washing while there. Wish someone would have came out to fix. Other than that is was a great place to stay in a good location. Very quiet!!!

So cute!

This cottage is as cute as the pictures. Everything has been recently remodeled and VERY clean! Great location to DuPont state Rec forest and close to restaurants/breweries in Brevard. Perfect for the 3 of us to go hiking, and come “home” to relax for the evening! Easy access in and out of the small neighborhood.
